why don't you guys ever properly demo the fucking guitars? all of your guitar "demos" are just the same guy playing the same shit over and over again. fuck you guys right in your mouths and assholes.
@jeffreycentino97 collecting I do not think means selling.I means keeping and preserving them for future generations.Any of these words you dont understand get a dictionary.
Wow, you think someone like them would at least know how to play a guitar. What am I saying!? They couldn't even tune the damn thing for the video! Also, unless you're using lots of contour/middle and reverb, the bridge pickups rarely ever sound good clean with single coils. I don't have to worry about that though. My Laguna LE322 has the HSS configuration.
erm...The duncan designed hotrails on this guitar are actually single coil sized humbuckers, so this particular model does not have singlecoil pickups. Trust me on this, I have one of those in my guitar collection.
gibson is great for metalcore in my opinion strat is great if you like to play clean and hear a sharper sound but that can be done with any guitar its really the amp that matters
I'm considering buying a Squier Deluxe Hot Rails too paired with a pocket pod (this will be my first electric, I been an acoustic fan for awhile and now making the switch over).
Can you tell me, if you have any problems with this guitar? you seem to know your stuff
any problems you have, like what do you mean by
"good luck finding a nice clean sound to it, which makes sense considering the duncs for pickup"
lol i wouldnt say i "know my stuff", ive only been playing for about 4 years now, but i appreciate the compliment nonetheless.
to answer you question, it all depends on what sound you want. if you like a punk/hard rock sound, this guitar is kind of tailored for that (think the smashing pumpkins when distorted), but it isnt ideal for clean tones, because of the seymour duncan pickups.
my main problems are the lack of quality clean tones and its inability to stay in tune well
its a good first electric though if your just looking for something to play, again it all depends on taste and maybe mine is different from yours. of course a lot depends on your amp but thats a whole different topic altogether. its a very sturdy guitar also if that means anything, ive banged it countless times but its put together well. i also prefer acoustics btw too so the fact that this guitar is so tailored to a heavier sound may contribute to my lack of enthusiasm over it.
i am not too sure but maybe a pair of EMG 81, 85's should do the trick. nah just kidding. maybe a SH-55 seth lover model GOLD BRIDGE which is a seymour duncan or any of the seymour duncan jazz range. look for the washburn jazz pick ups. they give a beutiful clean sound
ok the truth is that its a good first electric but nothing else...a little overpriced at 280...its dece for harder rock and punk (especially) sounds but good like finding a nice clean sound to it, which makes sense considering the duncs for pickups. there's better values to be had, but its okay if you wanna pound with a strat body, just tune it every day.
I don't know if you speak english because of the video language but is this a good guitar to begin on? because I have seen it for about $200 and would quite like a fender

The seymour duncan pickups? ... I take it as they are not known for the clean sounds.
May I ask then, for reference from a veteran. What pickups "are" known to produce the most natural clean sound.
I know alot has to do with the amp too, but lets not get into that.
tylernautica 2 years ago
something like a barden pickup does the trick

I can tell you how to get a "clean sound". Just turn your volume down to about 2. It works. Check out my video if you like
