No you can't. There is a dam at the Kawagama Lake end of the river and there are numerous rapids along the river. Where the video starts is about as far as you can travel the river from Lake of Bays in a motor boat. You could paddle the river by canoe or kayak though...
It is a small aluminium with a 9.9hp motor. You won't bottom out anywhere along the route of this video. Though you need to be careful from the 2:45-3:00 minute mark as there are a couple of large submerged boulders in that section that will do some damage if you hit them. You can go up river a little farther from where the video starts but you will bottom out in a few spots during the summer. In the Fall the water level is higher. The Hollow River empties into Little Trading Bay.

How big is your boat? Did you bottom out anywhere along this route. This goes into Trading Bay ? Great Video!
