Yoko Kanno is a genius, she´s my favorite composer. I can´t diecide what Escaflowne OST my favorite is. They are all ....I really don´t know how to discribe. Awesome is not strong enough, to describe the feelings I have, while I´m listening to her music.

I love how emotion is conveyed. In the beginning of a farewell you feel so raw (just like the sharp instrumental at the beginning) and then slowly you accept that person being gone. And at the very end, all you feel is nostalgia and happiness.

@Euphoria9630 This plays a few times during the anime. Mostly during sad scenes. I remember it played when Van caught Allen and Hitomi smoochin', and er... quite a few other times. I just can't remember exactly when.

I first loved this song when I saw that episode of Van fatally wounded because he 'merged' with the escaflowne and no one knew how to 'fix' him and Dryden just called the Ispanos to repair his guymelef...ahg it was an intense scene holy crap...Hitomi worrying and everything...
