I think there is a foreign element involved in the unrest in Syria. In the Zionist plans for control of the Middle East they planned on taking down Syria along with Iraq and Afghanistan before going for Iran, to break Iran's ability to support proxy forces.
The Western media always implies that it is some sort of pro-democracy people's movment but I have yet to see anything showing that. I've not yet seen reported what groups within Syria are rebelling or what their grievances are.

Now the hezbollah have a major presence in the lebanees govenment, it is unlikely that they will need syria very much. Iran still has its most powerful weapon which is its ability to block the strait of hormuz and potentailly cause a depression in the western world. if syria falls, it is likely that an islamist government will take hold which i think will benifit iran
