  • what do you do with the pulp?

  • @nld410 The pulp gets composted.

  • I want to lose some weight...like about 40 lbs...do you recommend more vegetable juices rather than smoothies?

  • @32bizzybee32 I recommend both. Just make them green! : )

  • Nice mix but you need to step your game up and get a real juicing machine such as the Jack La Lane's

  • Thank you Mathew for taking the time to share and encourage us. I look forward to better health through juicing.

  • Hi Matt, great to hear from you!

The remaining vegetables appear uneconomical, but perhaps the remaining vegetables can be eaten or mulched. If this is your point, then I'm going for the biggest and longest vegetable awarded to the grocery store!

Oh and one thing I understand from your video is the argument on health. You healthy people have good energy.

  • Hey... all the nutrition is in the juice. There is only fibre left in the pulp. Its good for composting! : ) PLease share and rate this vid!

  • juicing is not troublesome. u just need to do it more then u will develop your own clean up shortcuts.

  • Absolutely! Keep watching and please rate. : )

  • I have a lot of skin problems such as fungus and some whiteheads/blackheads. Will a juice fast help clear this up? How long should I do it? Can you recommend a juice mixtures. Love your video.

  • Hey... Juicing definitely helps the skin, but sometimes it might get a little worse before it gets better as the toxins are pushed through! I recommend to make it part of your daily plan and drink at least 1 pint of juice twice a day. Make it a veggie juice with plenty of green leafy vegetables. stay tuned : )

  • I would have added an apple to that

  • Guess its time to get my blender out of its box... looks tasty!

  • Go for it!! : )

  • can u comment on serving sizes per day you would get from juicing and what about the jack lalanie power juicer inst that a good one too?

  • I personally would drink up to 2 litres of juice a day. It depends on how healthy you are. If you are very toxic then you would want to build up slowly.

  • hey m8 - try beets / carrots / celery / red apples. I drink a pint of that every morning, its really great!

  • Thanks, Beetroot is a great cleanser. I like your combination! :-)

  • I use to be sick all the time until I started drinking apple/carrot juice. It has had an amazing effect on my immune system. The juice gives my body an amazing nutrient boost without having to work for it. It is so healing.

  • Totally agree Linda, and well done for taking responsibility for your own health! I have witnessed amazing results with myself and others from drinking vegetable juice daily. keep going : )

  • How many of the nutrients are lost with the pulp?

  • Good question. Very little. Most of the nutrients are in the juice. The pulp is mostly fibre

  • do you use organic veg, are they necessarily better in your opinion?

    thanks

  • I definitely prefer to use organic veg when I have the option. The best option is to grow your own! Thanks for viewing, Matthew

  • Matthew, I want to buy a good juicer and am torn between Champion and Green Star? Do you have experience with Green Star? It does seem to produce better quality juice due to the twin gear action but Champion also can be used to make other things like frozen banana desserts and sorbets so I'm torn. Can you advise?

  • Hi,

I have no experience with the Green Star, so cannot comment on it. I find the Champion excellent, a real workhorse. Thanks for viewing, Matthew.

  • Thanks anyway Matthew, love the accent by the way, just grand:-)

  • Holly Carrots. Your gonna give someone a sugar overload.

Thats way to much. remember one thing about juicing, it is not natural for the body in reality to consume that kind of vitamins in one sitting. Its like smoking a crack pipe of vitamins. Your blood sugar will spike and fall quickly.

  • Thanks for your comment Mark. The truth is that our bodies can easily consume this amount of vegetables in one sitting and absorb them! I learned this from 'The Juice Man' who is The Master, and I have been Juicing up to three pints a day for the last 6 years and I feel great, couldn't be better thank you very much. Do you smoke much crack ; )

  • I am happy for you that you find infomercial junk useful and that helps you feel better about yourself. But the fact is the Juice Man is simply a puppet of the corporate machine trying to sell machines with a feel good concept health spin to get easy prey like yourself to buy it. Any doctor will tell you that it is not natural to consume that much concentrated vegetable or fruit in one setting. Maybe you should read that material instead. And no I do not smoke much crack. Moderation... :)

  • The Juice Man was teaching juicing long before he was promoting juicers on infomercials. The old tapes that I have on him he doesn't mention a specific brand once! You gotta look at results and the average life expectancy of a medical doctor is 63! In 7 years of medical school they spend 48 hours learning about nutrition!! Most are simply legal drug pushers for the pharmaceutical industry! I only recommend one fruit juice a week as there is a high sugar content in fruit.

  • If you look at the vegetables most of them are green and highly alkalising and will balance out any sugar from the carrots. Please don't take my word for this. You must do it yourself and see. I recommend three weeks of 2 Pints a day to notice phenomenal results! Enjoy : )

  • Good to know. I am also personal friends with Jay Kordich's son's girlfriends brothers former room mate in college. LOL just kidding. He looks good, nice website thanks for sharing. He should consider some eye brow trim work, other than that he looks healthy and happy. Getting paid. nothing wrong with that. Also, I never really put down juicing, I suggested people were over juicing with multiple cocktails a day. moderation is what I was inferring.

  • I am personal friends with Jay Kordich, who was FORMERLY known as the Juiceman. You'd be pleased to know that it's been several YEARS since he's been allowed to call himself "the Juiceman" because he long ago severed ties with the evil corporate machine who was using him. HE started JUICING for HEALTH long before the corp. began to bank off him. Don't put down JUICING when you're really putting down a corp. Check juicedaddy(dot)com/faq to see how he's doing yourself. Just keeping it real. :D

  • Thanks Dan, thats what I love about you.You keep it real!

  • What kind of juicer are you using?

  • Champion juicer!

  • Good job

  • Looks yummy!
