i had no idea affleck was as Boston as he was, but damn, this movie is AMAZING. i cried at the end a little bit. this movie KILLED IT. my heart was racing at the end with that last stick up, affleck was great. there was some amazing acting in this. and when i saw affleck directed... i almost shat myself. @reborny123 sex is a part of life, just because they show it doesn't mean you should be repulsed by it, it's sex, 99.9% of people do it, and when your trying to portrait bank robbers, you want to give people a good idea of what their life is like, which is bound to include sex, and it wasn't even like raunchy sex.. in fact the one sex scene was romantic.. the scene earlier actually showed him not being into it, it actually helped with understanding his feelings throughout the movie.

This movie was awful. You don't even know what the fuck the characters are saying half the time because the accents are to over the top. I missed that whole conversation about the name the kids were calling her because I couldn't understand Affleck. It was unoriginal, horribly predicable, and not entertaining. It was a boring less than special bank robber movie. I have no idea why everyone got all dick hard about it.

Because with all those good actors there's got to be some deeper meaning or something to the story? And no one wants to be the guy that didn't get it. But, no, there was nothing to get. It was straight forward unorignal bank robber movie with slightly above average acting. Not worth all the hype or seeing more than once.

This movie was amazing, i am extremely suprised that not more people gave this movie a chance and liked the film's different actors, and screenplay. This has a great plot, i know it's hard to have any remorse for bad guys, but this movie really puts you in ben affleck's situation in the movie. So, for those who have not watched it, or haven't given it the best rating. I suggest going to watch it again with new, open eyes. This is a great film that i would hate to be underrated and overlooked.

Honestly, if you people can give Scott Pilgrim better than sex, than this movie is GODLY. Scott Pilgrim deserves a high matinee at best IMO. This is my favorite movie along with Kick Ass for the year. Yes, the fact that some characters were cliche, but that was unavoidable. Superb acting, great chemistry b/w rebecca hall and ben affleck (didnt care so much for the romance tho), AMAZING bank robbery scenes, and good script. And unique ending too, atleast its not all copied. 4/5

It's to the point now that if Spill gives it a high rating, I know the movie will be boring. But if they give it a low matinee or a rental (or sometimes a "some 'ol bullsh##"), I know it'll be entertaining. I want a decent story with some action, special effects and a few cool one-liners. I like creative and imaginative movies. Not heart warming tales of Jack and Jill as they overcome their unfortunate circumstances and in the process discover love. Bleh.
