it doesn't work for everyone , but i wanted to stop biting mine, and i found that if i had a coat of nail varnish on them, it tended to stop me biting them , because i guess i wanted them to look nice?, and now they are kinda long , and i applied a lot of strengthening varnish to make them strong , and grow faster.

-worked for me anyway :)
