The prologue script was very good for the trailer talking about how reverred by the denizens of Metropolis as a golden god and then you taked about the fall of Superman. Whomever the wrote the prologue did a great job and the visuals were good with the Brandon Routh as Superman from the previous film. The Doomsday part was lacking in the visuals and the end needed work. Perhaps Superman symbol is dripping blood and seeing Doomsday's arms punching through the S. Brainstorming. Not bad overall.
@dmay949 Watchmen was a wreck, and a horrible adaption. Snyder is a horrible storyteller, and puts his main focus on visuals, unlike Chris Nolan. The Dark Knight is going to go down as not only the greatest comic book movie, but as one of the greatest movies, specifically due to the storytelling.
I hate to say it but I think The Man of Steel movie is gonna suck... I mean how many times have we seen other kryptonians as the antagonists? Its getting boring. If Kenneth Brannagh can create Frost Giants there should be no excuse for Snyder to create Darkseid, Braniac, or Doomsday. The Lex Luthor/Zod ideas are getting old and everyone knows it. ive been thinking... in a movie about superman fighting doomsday, they both die at the begining, then superman comes back near the end... thats nearly a whole movie without a hero or villain... this COULD work as an origin movie for the justice league... brainiac arrives on earth to herald doomsday... doomsday and superman kill eachother... the justice league is set up in his memory and they fight brainiac and some other threat, and when it seems like they'll fail superman returns to lead them
A fine exercise in restrained editing; you know that the voice over is powerful enough that you needn't indulge in unnecessary, flashy cuts. The action parts were also very well done. However, the title was fairly cheesy; the idea is sound, but it the shattering glass sound is not bombastic enough and the "Doomsday" doesn't necessarily need to vibrate like that.
Aside from the not-perfect title, this was nigh-perfect trailer edit. Good work!

In-my-opinion, all the next Superman movie needed was an action-packed sequel, not another reboot. Nolan and Snyder are a good sign of things to come, but notice how Bryan Singer was beloved for the first two X-Men's and now reviled for "Superman Returns". ive been thinking... in a movie about superman fighting doomsday, they both die at the begining, then superman comes back near the end... thats nearly a whole movie without a hero or villain... this COULD work as an origin movie for the justice league... brainiac arrives on earth to herald doomsday... doomsday and superman kill eachother... the justice league is set up in his memory and they fight brainiac and some other threat, and when it seems like they'll fail superman returns to lead them

A fine exercise in restrained editing; you know that the voice over is powerful enough that you needn't indulge in unnecessary, flashy cuts. The action parts were also very well done. However, the title was fairly cheesy; the idea is sound, but it the shattering glass sound is not bombastic enough and the "Doomsday" doesn't necessarily need to vibrate like that.
Aside from the not-perfect title, this was nigh-perfect trailer edit. Good work!

...would have been better off having Superman fight someone to the death to save Metropolis, rather than throwing a big kryptonite mountain out into space to save it. And it doesn't have to be doomsday... what about Darkseid? Brainiac? Lex Luthor paired w/Kryptonite is played out. And your point that Doomsday isn't well known is moot. Ra's Al Ghul isn't well known outside BTAS and comics, but he did just fine as the villain in Batman Begins. Keep Lex in the background in the next film

I think Chris Nolan needs to direct all superhero movies, Marvel and DC.i mean Ironman and Incredible hulk were great,but Chris Nolan is by far the best director,and he's the kind of director that we need for all superhero movies.And i really wish they would consider Johnny Depp to play the Riddler.he is the best choice to me.
