  • Very nice.As a kerryman who just spent a few enjoyable days in Mayo its nice to see Kerry scenes used in the clip.Kerry people dont mind sharing with the nice 'stone mad 'Mayo people.

  • @frconvey LOL at both of you, is this a set up, I'll get me popcorn

  • I'm almost Irish. My Great grandparents left Eire and crossed the ocean and though I'm American, it's true...it only takes an ounce of Irish blood and the Isle calls out to you. This song makes me cry and I am not a nutty sort of person. If ye have any Irish at all in ye..ye hear it. It's a curse and a blessing.

  • love this song but I love the couple of fine examples of the beutiful kerry country side shown in the video even more ;)

  • well im from roscommon and i have to say this song is the only good thing ever to come out of mayo

  • @frconvey ^^^^ RETARD BOY shut ur mouth, rosscommon is a no-go,won nothin never will hahahaha ugly imbreds

  • The Green & Red of Mayo song sure hits the strings of this American-Irishman's heart. My grandfather was born in Kilmeena County Mayo just north of Westport. From the family homestead farmland you can see Crough Patrick to the Southwest. My Cousin Michael Joe still lives there & has a single palm tree and sign on his front lawn. The sign I believe reads "Reef View" refering to the mound of Crough Patrick. .

  • classic tune, would love to visit ireland, beautifull country

  • Tiocfaidh Ar La

  • called the faithful there to pray

  • its amazing...its beautiful in pictures too...not half as in person...Ireland here I come again, Happy St Patrick's Day

  • i,m an english girl married to a half irish half scottish man (a full celt in my eyes) he introduced me to the saw doctors about 4 years ago and i've been hooked ever since this is his favourite song of theirs, mine is clare island and having been to clare island and seeing how beautiful it is the song is even more beautiful HAPPY ST PATRICKS DAY x

  • @marciaduggan How do you get to Clare Island?

  • @nalla3 we went on holiday to westport, visited a place called Louisburgh and got the ferry (well I say ferry more like a fishing boat) from Roonagh which is a couple of miles from Louisburgh, just like it says in the song, its absolutely beautiful on the island, theres a pub to get a drink and something to eat but not much else, its so peaceful, hope this helps x

  • i,m an english girl married to a half irish half scottish man (a full celt in my eyes) he introduced me to the saw doctors about 4 years ago and i've been hooked ever since this is his favourite song of theirs, mine is clare island and having been to clare island and seeing how beautiful it is the song is even more beautiful

  • @mcfcandz Couldn't express it ever better! I've never been to Galway Bay, Mayo, nor that mountain -the one they climb every year, Yet Fanny Greer me Mr. Martin and 150 yrs later I find myself here!

  • GOD LOVES THE IRISH ...WHY BECAUSE THE IRISH HAVE ALWAYS LOVED GOD!!!!!

  • @seanbagofdoughnuts Not as much as we used to. Quite a few Irish people are Atheist now. And most Catholics are having a hard time trusting the church after the recent scandals.

Lets hope all the victims receive justice.

Oh and I like when Americans take an interest in Irish music =)
