EverQuest sucked ever since SOE bought out Verant Interactive. All the talent disappeared. If I recall correctly, common convention with the old school EQ players is that the game started getting bad around Velious expansion (which was the second expansion).

EverQuest? I played that game in beta & made over $30,000 n one year playing EQ. I bought my first car from the money I got in 1999. So while people were killing them selves over this game n real life because they couldn't make rent, I learned to make money. Good times on old school EQ. Their PVP sys sucked & the money market came to a stop. I made $200 for 5000 of Platinum Game money.
