@furiesalene… really??? Fortunatly I am Austrian and I live in Vienna. So I guess that qualifies me to give a comment on that. Originally the Schnitzel was imported from Milan (Italy). In Vienna traditionally people eat it only with potato salat. Today some people add rice or french fries --> but as I said before, that's more a modern development… cheers :-)
