You're completely right, the control system stinks! It's because they bought it in Italy! If there's anything the Metro have taught Danes, and a sub-sequent train project IC4 with the Danish Railways, it is: never by techonlogy from Italy. They make wonderful cheese, ham and redwine, but control systems? IC4 is a modular train that can't couple the modules together!!!
The programmer behind the metro system are retarded. You would think that a completely automatic train could stop exactly where it is suppose to so it fits with the doors, but it is often more than half a meter wrong.
Also, since the system knows the exact location of all trains at all times, it should be able to drive smoothly, and slow down smoothly when needing to. Still, it drives very jerky, breaks hard all the time.
Yes..look att Japan and China...they got human robots and nearly clones..they got mucth technique mutch more technique then Denmark....and besides Denmark is a very small country....soo..this Metro is very good for to be a danish construction.that im thinks it is.
It doesn't matter what size Denmark is. They didn't make the metro control system properly. I don't even know who made it. It could be bought from other places. But it's not made well enough either way.

Yes, well, Italy is a third world country, what would you expect.
We bought some high speed trains from the same manufacturer, AnsaldoBreda and they're years late as well.

Retarded system.

Well, you're almost right, but not quite. It's a little bit more difficult than that ;)

I agree with jelleoelle. It's not any more difficult than that. They just did a bad job.
Look at computer controlled trains in Japan. They drive so smoothly that people can have their coffy cups on the table without spilling.

yes but thats in Japan..and this is in Denmark..soo...think a little before u complaines...

You are making no sense mrcodguy. Unless you are just saying that people in Denmark at not smart enough to do it as good as other countries.

No..but....whys its not made well enough?

already explained!!!

I hope there's some sort of proximity detection system if someone/thing is on the tracks and it needs to stop suddenly.
gabril777 3 years ago
No, but there is collisiondetection.
deadlock1981 3 years ago
what good is collisiondetection? Once collision has happened, it't too late.
