  • christ, at $20 a box...

  • @redreaper2020 1000 rounds is only 20 boxes, so that's $400? Pretty cheap for some sponsor (Like Para USA, Chip McCormick, whoever makes the ammo, and Pierce grips). It probably cost more to pay Todd Jarret to do this.

  • WHATS THE NAME OF THAT GUN

  • @bigboy751000 Para PXT 1911 SSP

  • Oh so because you never heard of Para Ordinance in Call of Duty, doesn't mean that it doesn't exist you damn retard. Get the F off your XboX and get out in the real world.

You kids make me F'n sick.

  • @ScopedOUT2 ya im a kid but i dont play call of duty black ops it sucks i play MODERN WARFARE 3

  • @ScopedOUT2 You were a kid once, now go get a life.

  • Never seen labcoat tourture test. But I like dust, mud or sand toruture test better.

"Glock 21 Buried 2 years then 500rd test fire " this one is nice

  • This dudes a real idjit...

  • ahhh the fastest trigger pull alive haha not with mr. Bob Mundun still around

  • the fastest shooter,ya right hes slow as hell and even i can beat him

  • @billabob45 ... you've never touched a .45, I see.

  • @SayokoHatsuya yes i have, he is a horrible shot i bet becuase of the stance .and slow becuase he does not have right finger placements on trigger and he goes all the way through with it so he is fucking up his own time.

  • @billabob45 He's running through a thousand rounds basically as a demonstration of the gun. The man himself is a fantastic competition shooter. You can't exactly badmouth him for not giving a shit about OMG PERFECT FORM when he's basically BUMPFIRING THE THING HALF THE TIME.

    Fuck.

  • @SayokoHatsuya as a demonstration? thats fucking stupid wasting all those rounds for a demostration. i havent seen him in any competitions so i cant really judge him but from what i see here he is being a dumbass screaming on how hot the gun is, it is pretty obvious that its going to be hot after firing 30 rounds., and getting yippie yi ya when he is shooting, he needs self control and since he bumpfiring HALF THE FUCKING TIME you thing he would be smart enough to think calming down and gloves

  • @billabob45 If you've been asked to fire a thousand rounds to demonstrate a firearm, shit, why not have fun with it?

Fuck, if you gave me a thousand rounds and a sweet 1911 and told me to let loose, fuck yes I'd be bumpfiring half the time. I'd probably ask for gloves, but I'm gonna have fun with a thousand rounds whether people like you like it or not.

    Hell yeah.

  • @SayokoHatsuya see i agree with that but this wasnt a demonstration it was a world reccord,

  • @billabob45 Ah, this is a video series I watched a long time ago and haven't watched again... Yes, it's supposedly a world record for fastest burn-through of a thousand rounds by a handgun, I guess. ... I think.

Also doubled, apparently, as a demonstration of the Para 1911's supposed quality, extractor, so on and so on, various gimmick shit, I kind of want their fancy extractor on my 1911s etc etc.

I'd still bumpfire and not give a fuck.

  • @billabob45 go for it

  • @nickman8559 wish i could but i dont have a 1000rounds

  • sounds like Original ak47..

  • So, this test was needed because guns only fail after they get super hot??

What about when a new, cold from the box gun fails, even after being properly cleaned and lubed? This is nothing more than PARA paying to have their guns advertised. Give me a break.

  • Hey, HAND TALKER.....The host REALLY ANNOYS ME TOO. Does he even realize how silly he looks while flipping his crazy hands all over the place????

  • Shoulda got a Glock and 37 27-round mags... coulda done it quicker.

  • What an expensive challenge. Maybe you should give us a challenge a little bit more, one the budget ;)

  • should have used sleight of hand SMH

  • what an idiot!!!

  • The closing Credits fail to thank the supplier of the Ammunition.

  • could u speak proper english?

  • The zombies are coming hide behind Mr Jarrett. While you're at it reload his mags :D

  • Why did he have to strip the mags?

  • @titandriver70 Heat causing minor expansion, I expect. Then again, not all mags drop free from all 1911s, either...

  • pudgy fuck

  • My hands are numb just watching that...

  • anyone can beat this guy

    too slow reloading

dont have gloves for the trigger

    10 mins

    can beat this guy

    anyone can get 3-5mins.

  • if i had the money and people id try to beat him

  • i honestly just wanted to see if it would reach the point when the rounds started cooking off shots.

  • @ithpally i see what you mean, but i think that the mag would have to be in for quite a time before any shot goes off, probably by the time the bullets get hot enough the weapon itself would be cool enough for it not to have them go off.

  • I don't care if you are shooting a 1911 or a H&K whats a lot of rounds in a short time. but the shooting Gloves would help! did you see the glock 19 do the same? but they had two people shooting the gun! You did a good job!

  • i love to watch this man!!

  • Swapping mag!

  • OOOOOHHHHH HOT GUUUUUUUUN!!!

  • he should have bump fired every mag

  • Not many people know that when John Browning (the inventor of the 1911) submitted his pistol for government testing he put 6,000 rounds through it without a single malfunction. "When the arm got to hot to hold he dipped it in a bucket of water." (from his biography: "John Browning American Gun Maker", a fantastic book.) This record went unchallenged until in 1917 the BAR (Browning Automatic Rifle) "fired 40,000 consecutive rounds without stoppage".

  • I don't think Para's are cheap, but I would say Sig and Kimber are in a league just above Para. I own a Para High Cap .45 and I just picked up a P229 in 9mm so now I can compare them both.

  • And that's just a "cheap-o" para... imagine with you can do with high quality kimber or sig version. Great test.

  • @smlemk42 Kimber Jam all the fucking time

  • @MrSNIPERRecon

A friend of mine love his K commander and so does his son. (although he usually use his Sig 220 - got his using his first paycheck from the army.)

Me, I rented a .45 XD and it works fine.. although I still perfer using 9mm because I don't like too much recoil from ye standard auto.

  • waste much?

  • The blocked comments for vid 2 LMAO. "Whoooooo That; ONE HOT GUN!" "Whoooooooooooo THAHTS NOWHOTGUUUuuuuun" "Come one nauu! Fix me UUUUpppp!" Crazy bastard! I love this guy.

  • sounds like a bunch of pissed off glock fans

  • i could kick this guys ass and im 13

  • @alexilaihodude1 Watch Todd's other videos and post a video doing what he does. I agree this challenge is lame, but he is still an amazing shooter.

  • I don't understand, what the record is? anyone can shot 1000 rounds. What's the difficult part? Only the gun is good. That's it. For the shooter, I just don't know what is the challenge.

  • i would give credit to the gun and the reloaders...

whats the big deal? anyone can shoot fast... the real questions are, can you shoot straight? can you shoot fast, straight, under pressure?

I dont think this is of any merit for this guy.

  • @heherrera: hey stupid... have you heard about the word "RECOIL"? specially a 45 Cal... if you are a first timer to shoot a 45 caliber in multiple taps... u cant aim straight stupid!

  • whatever you where shooting at I think you got it.

  • what does paintball have to do with shooting a thousand rounds of .45 APC?

  • @Djrelmz just what i was thinking

  • That's quite impressive for a low end gun! I just watched the Glock 19 thousand round test and it jammed at least 4 times.

  • This isnt insane its like se a Jesus gun gettin crusified

  • 1airsprint1 ya there is a video of a glock firing 1000 rds it took two shooters to do it it took them four minutes longer the glock malfunctioned 4 or 5 times and the guild rod melted and fell out of the gun.Long live the 1911.

  • and only about $800.00 worth of ammo to attempt this trick

  • is this guy a retard? sounds like it

  • @WTFyouratard No you are just an inbred parentless moron. Obviously you've never been around people that are enthusiastic....not the slothful retarded stepchild like you.

  • uh jerry miculek could beat that

  • @suffocation20 but he hasn't has he?

  • @suffocation20 true he hasn't but i believe he could

  • Next time why dont you video tape the whole event so people like me will not think you just did some bull crap editing.

  • Imagine in the future the gun got cold,,, lol Ahh this gun is freezin!

  • @bobbysam232

    .... What?

  • Glock does the same thing, however you can still hold the gun when you are done...

  • I'd be happy just to have that brass

  • i think after that the barrel is useles :C

  • was all the ammo the same? Did any one take the guns tempature at the end?

  • Did you ever think about oh... maybe... GLOVES???

  • @akaHermanSnerd: are you stupid? its like a BEAT THE TIME stupid... wearing gloves will lessen your performance and will increase your time stupid! and wearing gloves will lessen the FEEL when you are shooting a handgun... thats why no one is wearing a gloves when it comes to shooting competition idiot! i am a practical shooter that is why i know...

  • @toohunk4u

Yes you're right. It was stupid of me to think that this ISN'T a practical shooting even, or to assume that this event required any measure of accuracy or to suggest that one might want to wear even a thin pair of gloves due to the inevitable heat build-up of an all-metal gun. Do you think handling a piping hot gun with your bear hands might impact performance a bit? Maybe we should petition H&K to reduce the trigger guard size of its USP series pistols since YOU don't like gloves.

  • @akaHermanSnerd: Todd Jarrett cannot use H&K for this test... because its PARA that he endorses...

  • @toohunk4u

You're failing to understand my point. The H&K USP series trigger guards (among others) are designed to accommodate shooters wearing GLOVES which is in direct conflict with your theory that doing so will impede shooter performance. A real shooter will be able to handle a gun and fire it with accuracy gloves or no gloves. The shooter in this vid should have prepared better and worn some. He might have finished more quickly if he didn't have the heat to deal with.

  • @akaHermanSnerd: you dont understand me too... in this TEST itself... what you have in this test itself is all what you need... no more no less (in this 1000 round test itself)

  • @toohunk4u

    *facepalm*

  • @akaHermanSnerd lawl

  • @akaHermanSnerd

Obviously gloves effect triggering capability and quickness....

  • @akaHermanSnerd i think there testing for a self defence situation therefore you wouldnt regularly wear gloves although that would be smart

  • @goldeneye0019 i dont know why you would need to shoot off 1000+ rounds over 10 minutes in a self defence situation unless there was a freakin zombie invasion

  • @squirlboy2 well now that you mention that yeah i guess your right but then again there still just testing how hardy the weapon is most people testing a handgun put it through 1000 rounds especially military forces

  • @goldeneye0019 who carrys 1000 rounds on them? just wondering haha i think imma try that on my next hunting trip tryen to carry that on person

  • @ChrisCorle01 well no thats not the point there testing how many rounds it'll take till the gun brakes in thise case a well designed one like a beretta 92F or an M1911 will pass this test

  • @akaHermanSnerd Have you ever shot with gloves on?

  • @XGCScrappy

Yes. But the thing is you have to pick the glove proper for the situation. If it's freezing cold and you're up to your arse is snow then I'd think you'd want a thick insulated glove so that your hands and trigger finger don't go numb. If you're going to be handling a gun like in the video then any light glove will be better than nothing. Hell I once shot on a cold day with brown Wally World gardener's gloves on - didn't make a difference to me.

  • @akaHermanSnerd anyone that screams like that isn't capable of thinking.

  • u suck ass shit

  • i think i would wear some thin gloves to protect my trigger finger.

  • - .45ACP ?

    - How many grains ?

    - Not cool to toss a gun that some people have hard time to save money just to buy one !

    - Safety first of course ! So your assistants must be behind your shoulders !

    - Not a "World Record".

    - Hope you gonna to reload those brass !

  • wow all those clips must of cost alot

  • @ethanm23

    Magazines, not clips.

  • @t0mcos sorry kind of instinctive

  • ill do more than a 1000 in 10 min just give me a full auto glock with long mags

  • Damn it! B/C of the laws of supply and demand and Todd Jarrett is the reason why .45 ACP ammo is so damn expensive....

  • that was the biggest work out that guy has had in years, this guy spends soo long on reloads, if he wanted to do better, he probly shoulda practiced reloading dry

  • people wonder why ammo is so expensive

  • Gun Powder is not an explosive, their was a thousand small fires in the barrel not explosions.

  • @gerard0949

Wrong. It's explosions. That's what propels the projectile forward.

  • @uraijit No its not an explosive. C4 is an explosive, hold C4 in your hand, bye bye hand. Hold gun powder in your hand you might get miner burns. It's actually the rapid release of gas from burning the gun powder that propels the bullet.

  • @gerard0949

"It's actually the rapid release of gas from burning the gun powder that propels the bullet."

Which is the very definition of an explosion.

    Get a dictionary, retard.

  • @gerard0949 Since you're too retarded, I'll provide the dictionary definition. Explosion –noun 1. an act or instance of exploding; a violent expansion or bursting with noise, as of gunpowder or a boiler ( opposed to implosion). 2. the noise itself: The loud explosion woke them. 3. a violent outburst, as of laughter or anger. 4. a sudden, rapid, or great increase: a population explosion. 5. the burning of the mixture of fuel and air in an internal-combustion engine. 6. Phonetics . plosion.
  • @uraijit Gunpowder doesn't make a loud noise when you burn it. Put some on a pan and test it yourself. If gunpowder is an explosive then I guess my fire wood is too.

  • @gerard0949

If you burn gunpowder it in open air, it doesn't explode. Send me your email address, and I'll show you what gunpowder can do to a hand.

It's absolutely an explosion, by definition. Everything about the physics behind it means that it's an explosion.

If you can put a piece of wood into a confined space, ignite it, and have it explode, then wood would be an explosive, but you can't.

Unless you have some sort of oxidizer in there as well, you won't get an explosion.

  • @uraijit "If you burn gunpowder it in open air, it doesn't explode. " Exactly because gun powder doesn't explode if you contain it in a pressure vessel then the pressure vessel will explode due to the expanding gas but that doesn't make gun powder an explosive. If it did then air is an explosive because I've made plenty of air cannons before.

  • @gerard0949

So then you're saying a pressure vessel is an explosive?

You're a hopeless idiot. I doubt you're going to ever get it, but maybe after you get through high-school physics, something will click. Come back and play if you ever get it. 'till then, your ignorance is not my problem. You can ignore the facts all you want, but you just further demonstrate your ignorance.

  • @uraijit Sure I'm ignorant. At least I'm not obviously wrong and oddly emotionally tied to a youtube comment discussion. I also didn't resort to childish, pointless name calling. You can message me when you would like to have civil conversation.

  • @gerard0949

As soon as I find an intelligent person to converse with, I'll be sure to say nice things. ;)

  • @uraijit oooh harsh

  • this could do every idiot

  • this could do every dumb as*

  • And the gun still runs normally?

  • This was the most unsafe handling and firing of a handgun I have ever seen.

  • is malfunction, stopping firing, and failing not the same?

  • y didnt they use a hi cap like 10 or 15 round mags so there is less reloading

  • What's a more realistic torture test? Putting 1,000 rounds through a gun in 10 minutes or your gun getting run over or dropped in mud, dirt, sand, or water?

My guess is that nobody needs to ever put 1,000 rounds through a gun in 10 minutes because their lives depend on it. I just can't imagine that happening. I can imagine the other things happening. Alot. Because I've seen it happen. Many people have.

That said, this was still cool, albeit very unnecessary.

  • I´m from germany and I gotta say, what these fat guys are doing? It isn´t a skill to do that damm, I mean what kind of wasteful hobby XD Shit give the munition to your soldiers and get a use out of it. Amd I´m glad that lot of guys from america thinking the same, otherwise I would believe that would be america but for god sake I know it better.,

  • id hate to have to clean up all the shells..

  • this guy is a fuckin douchebag, all his buddies were prolly like dude shut the fuck up. talk about an anoying rich kid that rubs everything in your face that they get to do, wish someone would give me a bunch of mags and a 1000 rnds, and ill prove that my taurus 1911 is just as good as any kimber or springfield (if not, better).

  • SOMEBODY ONLY CHAMBERED ME TWO BULLETS

  • @TheAlexBradley

i wish i could have multiple rounds in my chamber and still have it function properly. what an idiot.

  • im not impressed at all? didnt seem that fast at all to be honest with you

  • @numba1cowboyfan whats impressive is how he shot all of those rounds, without cleaning the gun

  • @numba1cowboyfan

and then the guy at the end says this guy can prolly shoot faster than any living human being, get the fuck outta here, give me free ammo and free shit and ill be better than this dude in 2 weeks.

  • Reminds me of Eddy from Christmas Vacation haha

  • @shadowmeld1515 "Shitter was full" lol

  • And thats the most exciting thing hes done in his life...Thats a sad story.

  • whoooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

  • u could of just uesed a bump stick and 67 15 round mags dunno if there are rules against that tho

  • Why does this guy assist the ejecting of the magazines with his left hand just to throw them on the ground?..

  • @porrsmurfen hes probably learned the muscle memory of assisting the mag idk tho.

  • I saw a video where some guy did 1500 rounds in 13 minutes with a Sig P220

  • I wish I could go to the Blackwater range.

  • I agree it is pretty stupid but it does say alot about that 45... All those rounds and not one jam or misfire. Im sold!!

  • Impressive performance for a stock, out of the box handgun.

  • i wish you got to start out with this much ammo on nazi zombies....

  • todd is an ipsc shooter, he was the world champion. he shoots more than a thousand rounds per practice. he is sponsored by para ordnance. common todd quit fooling around.

  • A 1,000 round test is a very good way to test a firearm, unfortunately this was not the way to do it...First of all the idiot in the red tshirt reloading the mags should be standing behind the shooter, not infront of him off to the side. And this guy needs to learn how to reload...he almost dropped half the mags.....This guy is a world Championship shooter? He did not create a very safe environment with this stunt.

  • This is the stupidest thing in the world.. He's not even aiming, mind as well just shoot in the air.. Your supposed to load your own bullet.. And not even using the right bullets.. He had 1 clip that only had 2 bullets in it.. Doesn't count if you no accuracy.. You can rig up a robot to do this Challenge.. I say 2 thumbs dumb..

  • This is funny I looked up 1911 torture test and this is what came up. Wow no wonder the army switched to the beretta 92fs when i was in the army we shot way more than 1000 rounds of ammo a day and never had overheating problems. The beretta worked fine in sandstorms snow storms and anything else. I can't believe people actually think 1911's would be a great service pistol again it is a nice show gun though fun to shoot too, but not war worthy. Support your troops and their sidearm.

  • @GPGAP The m1911 fires a 45. acp round which has more stopping power than the m9

  • @gangstarpea2k7

Oh that myth about a person being knocked off their feet by a .45acp. Myth busters episode 38 disproved that. I have personally shot people with both the 9mm and the .45 acp (HK USP) in Iraq when i was in the army, both bullets kill the target with usually one bullet to the chest or head, but the .45acp was horrible with distance and dropped really fast especially with the wind storms the 9mm had a rifle type distance and could hit the target from over 150yrds away.

  • You said, "1k in a day".

This is 1k in ten minutes smart guy. The 1911 served in multiple wars. It's a fine piece.

  • @asoul576 I like the 1911 its just not good for war, I actually own a 1911 and enjoy shooting it. But let me tell you that the 1911 jams up when there is even a simple rain down pour it only has 7 rounds it can't handle any dirt or mud all of which are out there in Iraq. Also correction I said me and my fellow soldiers shot more than a thousand rounds and the beretta 92fs has been tested to shoot up to 39,000 rounds continuous fire without a single jam. Look up the tests the military does.

  • @GPGAP You have an original M1911?

  • @CustomWeapons

I have 2 1911's cause I love them a springfield 1911 GI model made similar to the colt in ww2 and a stainless steel kimber 5" that I just love to shoot. I just need to find one that's reliable in bad conditions if you know of any that are good please let me know thank you for any info you may have.

  • @GPGAP I carried a Colt Combat Commander for over 20 yrs. no failures at all attributable to the firearm. A few ammunition issues but no issues at all with the performance of this weapon. I tried the sand test and the mud puddle test on several occasions with no malfunctions. For those unfamiliar with the tests I buried the pistol in a sand pile recovered it and ran 4 mags through it with 0 malfunctions. The mud puddle test was just that, drop it in and let it soak, a few shakes and fire it.

  • @TheGunslinger5854

Cool deal maybe I should get the colt combat commander I love the 1911 but mine isn't very reliable and I take care of it like a trophy. How much does the colt combat commander cost and have you upgraded it at all and how long is the barrel? Thank you for this info I want to find a really reliable 1911 they are neat guns.

  • @GPGAP The standard M1911 is fitted a little too tightly for my taste. The Combat Commander is loose like an old pair of comfortable boots. This relaxed fit makes it much more resistant to dirt, dust, lint and a lot more reliable as far as feeding ammo from the mag. No upgrades, just replaced the recoil spring several times, the 4 3/4" barrel once and the barrel bushing a couple of times. For the price of a Commander you can get a really nice Kimber which is just a gussied up carry piece go look

  • @GPGAP HAHA! The weapon was a military weapon. Look I've got 1911's too and what you've just said is patently untrue of mine and many other shooters that I hang with. The 1911 is a fine platform. It was dropped because of the weapon being complicated to use, and caliber issues, not because of functional issues.

  • @GPGAP The M9 needs to be replaced though. For a sidearm it's just too bulky and big. I'm not a CoD fanboy, but a Glock would be better.

  • @CustomWeapons

The SIG P226 9mm was the only other contender for the military contract back then. I doubt we could get them for cheap enough, though. I'd hate to see Glocks for our soldiers out there, though. I'd never buy one.

  • @mchenj Ruger also had a 9MM pistol up for consideration at the trials. As much as I dislike the look and handling characteristics of the GLOCK they were/are the toughest autopistol on the block. I own 1 in.40S&W for a backup piece but carry the S&W full size .40 as a carry weapon. As I was taught the fastest reload is a second weapon. On my own time I still carry a Colt .45ACP with a couple of spare mags and a small Colt .357 with two speed loaders. Never Walk Alone!!!!

  • @CustomWeapons

Yeah I'm sure someday they will change it cause now days guns are getting smaller and smaller but increasing ammo capacity. I don't care as long as the gun is reliable and easily controllable.

  • Tell you what 2503328. But I supply the gun. 8^) But being as you are obviously as worthless as your boyfriend bukakebreath...hell I know for a fact you aren't capable of shooting a real gun, just that little peashooter you got kicked out of middle school for.

  • Bukakehulk...you are so full of bovine excrement. Tell you what PUNK if you are so damn good, let's see you put 100rds in less than 30minutes with a Colt 1851 Navy. Free clue punk, btdt and to judge by your infantile post wouldn't have a CLUE how to do what I think of as a good short shooting session.

  • Wuhhuu ... that was so crazy...... just a bunch of fat guys shooting pfffff lame

  • hhhhh this is nothing
