This is the worst show...the characters names are the same but everything else is different.. this show adds too much that doesnt matter, and leaves out things that do matter. Terry Goodkind should be ashamed for being involved in this show.

I know I am about to get a ton of thumbs down. But I have a hard time liking Richard. I don't like people who are excessively stupid. Maybe once, where he lost the book. But everything since then.

ive read the book and i dont really think the changes are that big of a deal. you just cant compare the 2. the characters are the same, they have the same personalties. its still the battle of richard v darken rahl. they do a great job w/ kahlan/ richard!

Because Chase has a family to protect, and Rahl will stop at nothing to destroy anyone in his way. By helping Richard, Chase and his family become a target. Richard realizes this, and doesn't want to see him hurt.

Thats the thing with movies/shows they are never exactly like the book. Due to freaking money issues. I know it sucks. But hey its a pretty good show with the budget they got. And the rights that Terry Goodkind gave away too.

@Zubov11 he didn't give them away. he had a say in everything. he didn't want to make it like the books. he wanted it to be the story he didn't write. why? i have no idea. i LOVED the books. if the show was exactly like them, i'd be a completely happy person. but its not and my bf and i are dreading season two. (we wont watch it until it comes on dvd)
