Vinny is so cute, and is very talented! I adopted my now 6 month old German Shepherd Dog puppy, Riley! I have big plans for her! She's perfect for me in so many ways!! I just wanted say he looks like a Corgi Chihuahua mix imo! Anyways, you did a great job with him, and I look forward to many more videos of you and Vinny!!!

I had my shelter dog for over 17yrs ... what a great schnauzer he was ... amazing adopted dogs ... they seem to give back so very much <3 Love your Vinnie too

This perfectly illustrates that there are no bad dogs, only bad owners. Dogs respond to kindness, attention, love and patience, good food and exercise. Dogs that have a balanced life will be healthy and happy. Look at his little tail going non-stop. He rocks!

Thank you. I am sorry to say "DWARF". It is not correct. My dog happens to be MIDGET because An American Toy Fox Terrier is a little bigger than my dog. He was midget, by the way. I will have same one in the future but right now. I am still mourn and still think about him since Dec 26 2010. He is my loved forever! I have video of him when he was puppy and pics.. Oh boy, what a memorized.

Vinny is AMAZING!!! My favorite is also the "Vinny in a blanket" trick. His coat looks really shiny- he seems a lot healthier and happier compared to the picture from the pound. Just goes to show you can't judge a book (or it's potential) by its cover :P

Omg I lovvvveeee it. You're an amazing dog trainer, I've honestly never seen a dog perform tricks like that with such focus, happiness and patience before. Even my dog doesn't focus that much. She does this whole "I'm shy, I don't wanna focus, bark what?!" when I try to train her haha. :) Anyway, Vinny is SUPER cute. I'm curious as to what he's mixed with still. @thewhitewingedwolf Aww, Vinny & I say thank you!! I think it's easier for little dogs to learn how to do a handstand, but I've seen several medium-large breed dogs do it so it might be worth a try! Just make sure your pup is safe & doesn't hurt him/herself.
Aww, cute! I think shelter dogs are the best:) I don't think I could ever purchase a dog from even a good breeder knowing how many GREAT dogs are in need of a second (or third, or fourth...) chance!

Vinny is always so happy! His tail wouldn't stop wagging! I love his handstand, the bloopers and the shake the toy! :) My chihuahua will shake a towel on cue. :)

@squirtluver Thanks so much for commenting. He's a very quick learner but we practice as much as we can. Many of his tricks were 'natural' behaviors that I captured - for example, if he and I were playing tug-of-war with a toy, I would praise him for doing it & have him learn it as a command. The same 'tug' command was then used to have him untie my shoelaces & pull off my socks!

Omg I lovvvveeee it. You're an amazing dog trainer, I've honestly never seen a dog perform tricks like that with such focus, happiness and patience before. Even my dog doesn't focus that much. She does this whole "I'm shy, I don't wanna focus, bark what?!" when I try to train her haha. :) Anyway, Vinny is SUPER cute. I'm curious as to what he's mixed with still. Wow Vinny is so smart and absolutely adorable! I melted at the end when he hugged you. I love my "girls" so much. They are all rescues either by me or someone else. Shelter/Rescue dogs ROCK!!

omg...i love vinny and he isn't even my dog^^he is absolutely lovely...i wish i could train my dog a handstand..for small dogs its easy..do you think a german shepherd(17mo)could learn that?

@thewhitewingedwolf Aww, Vinny & I say thank you!! I think it's easier for little dogs to learn how to do a handstand, but I've seen several medium-large breed dogs do it so it might be worth a try! Just make sure your pup is safe & doesn't hurt him/herself.

Aww, cute! I think shelter dogs are the best:) I don't think I could ever purchase a dog from even a good breeder knowing how many GREAT dogs are in need of a second (or third, or fourth...) chance!

Vinny is always so happy! His tail wouldn't stop wagging! I love his handstand, the bloopers and the shake the toy! :) My chihuahua will shake a towel on cue. :)

awesome job working with him! I too have rescued a dog,she is finally coming around,being more social and all,shes a chihuahua,and I am guessing shes 5 or 6.also Vinny is cute!

@squirtluver Thanks so much for commenting. He's a very quick learner but we practice as much as we can. Many of his tricks were 'natural' behaviors that I captured - for example, if he and I were playing tug-of-war with a toy, I would praise him for doing it & have him learn it as a command. The same 'tug' command was then used to have him untie my shoelaces & pull off my socks!
