the silencer is very good on the m16 because your safe from their radar and that helps so you dont have 5 guys on you when you fire and theres almost no way to survive against those odds with the m16. The m16 for me at least is realy good in

The problem is, you can't slack with it, you need to take cover and move around while in a gun fight with your target, in comparison to the g11.

the m16, when put in good hands, is the best gun in the game. this is the only gun you can say that for and thousands of people probably agree with me. it is best with iron sights and is a great weapon to practice with for inaccurate people. i advise noobs to play veteran combat training with the m16 for reflexes, accuracy, and fire control. this is how i got good and my KDR is 1.74 (not awesome) and still going up a lot. the 3 round burst is more of an advantage, more hip fire accuracy control.

heres a tip based on my experiance, the M16 is 2-burst kill, which is 6 bullets, so it is essentially a two hit kill with a ten round clip and a slow max rate of fire, that being said it is easier to get a feel for than the technically superior FAL, and for some reason people seem to be slow to return fire after the first hit, possibly due to the three rounds each causing a flinch

I disagree, sir! I've used the M16 with ironsights since CoD4. They are superb. You put the dude's head in the "Y", you squeeze the trigger, the dude drops. Without Stopping Power it suffers though. Gunfights last a fraction longer than they do in MW2 or CoD4 so those fully autos do put so many more rounds down range. you get six to their 10-15.

There is a lag compensator in black ops? If it is even there then it is doing a horrible job, the hit detection in game is absolutely shit. In fact it is probably a lie orchestrated by treyarch to hype up their game and make it seem much better than it actually is. I'm done with the CoD series for a few years. If they work on one for 3-5 years then I will buy it quickly, but if it is one of these cheap 2 year makings that are probably shit then I won't waste my time.

Oh, and this whole rumour about red-dot vs reflex is bullshit. Think about it. Neither IMPROVES accuracy, it's just lets you look at your target closer so you can concentrate your fire better. The same way a sniper's scope works but on a much smaller scale.

So these people who are starting these rumours are obviously using something like the enfield, which does not have great accuracy and bounces around a fair bit when firing across a distance.
