  • Thats a lot of pepper

  • Thats a lot of pepper

  • he sounds italian

  • @jangoonpants well at least in the beginning

  • @jangoonpants then he goes hardcore french

  • lmao.. What accent is this?

  • @Techykabas he is soooo french :) cant u tell lool

  • @CAZYGIRL911 lol.. His accent sounds nothing like a French accent. I'm part French, lol. It's my first language.

  • @Techykabas haha if this is not french accent I dont know what kind of french do you speak...

  • @leonardoulian I have been speaking French since I was born. I can understand French in 4 different accents. France French, Quebec French, African French and Creole French. None of them sound like how he's speaking. If he is then he's forcing his accent. Because it's as if he's speaking with a fluent American accent, mixed in with a little British Accent and Guido Italian.

  • if they complain don't invite them again!!! hahaha epic :)

  • so much salt and pepper and butter!

  • This guy needs a show.

  • "Don't go out there and get a measuring cup! You're not sending a man on the moon, you're making couscous!" =D

  • Or ... i hear "paris ryan - dolce vita" playing in the background :D

  • Everytime I listen to that guy it's like watching Southpark lol...

  • @kinmanyuen i hear ya! hahaha :P

  • No one will complain if there's too much butter! And if they do, don't invite them again.

  • Cous-cous... The food so nice they named it twice

  • @opidig25gange lol true

  • Perfect. Explains enough, and it's very entertaining at the same time

  • haahahah no measuring cups! we're not sending a man to the moon!

  • He is an awesome chef. I wish he would post more videos.

  • haaaaaaaaaa ,you are legend :))))

  • couscous is MOROCCAN not kurdish seeeeeeeeeeeriously!!!

  • @ilovearj he sais a couscous with a ''kurdish'' influence (I would more say Iranian) because he made it with some Saffron.

  • awesome video, great chef.

  • Excellent chef!

  • This Chef is great!

  • more info on Saffron can be found all over the net as well as on saffraanrecepten.nl

  • "you dont have Saffron? dont worry about it, it will just give a wonderful yellow color to it"

UNBELIEVABLE! such a good cook with so many followers regard the ancient and romantic spice only as a coloring agent, a serious violation of culinary culture... :(

Saffron does not only color food, it is the divine love between aroma, color and flavor. Otherwise, there are so many other coloring agents which would give the exact same color (for a much less price) yet not the divine aroma and taste.

  • what if you just use plain water?? cause like most chicken broth has MSG in it

  • @mesa134

you either find one with no msg and low sodium or simply make it yourself. It's really just an opportunity to add flavor.theoretically any liquid will do.

  • I have a question about the tempreture of the chicken stock. Do I have to get it to a rolling boil before I pore it into the couscous, or is simmer enough?

  • I loved what he said "If they complain, don't invite them again"... So...LOL

  • the idea is to have a couscous, that basically dance on your thong... sorry i wear boxers

  • Kurdish? hahahaha what a joke couscous is 100 north African 100% Moroccan

  • @kommondoss Algerian cuisine is the worst of north african

  • @kommondoss THERE IS ONLY ONE COUSCOUS IT'S CALLED MOROCCAN COUSCOUS BROTHER algeria is just a follower and a grand son of MOROCCO.

  • @Moroccan4lifeone And it's the same for the tea, the takchita, the tagine, everything is moroccan...!

  • help me, my microwave blew up whilst trying to cook Coucous

  • haha i LOVE that guy's accent :D

  • I love couscous...

  • drool

  • thank you

last month i bought for the first time couscous and i felt in love with it

but i didn't know exactly how to do it... I was doing it like pasta... boiling it for a couple of minute wich was obviously wrong

  • you don't boil couscous, first you put it in a bowl, put 2 to 3 cup of water let it stay for 10 to 15 min, then you steam it for 2 to 3 times

  • If you were to cook a old shoe it would sound good!

Your couscous recipe is nice but I skip the butter and use a little olive oil and dry mint with the onions.

    BiLL

  • LOVE this guy!! 5 stars!

  • thats alot of salt and pepper

  • @reviver4dream Yeah Me too, I wonder where does he come from?

  • LOL... love your jokes :P I ate before Herbes De Provence Couscous. Taste a bit like Ratatouille. Any advise how to get the taste?

  • Cous cous is one of the best, fast, easy to make foods that exist. Some pumpkin seeds in the onion sautee, and some raisins or other dried fruit (apricot, cranberry) and some nice nuts (crushed walnuts, slivered almonds) are also great touches. Cumin/paprika and couscous work very well. Thanks Chef!
