Hi Dean I have the blitz and i am VERY happy with it. I put the vxl system in it up graded to a 2.4ghz witch makes it very duralbe not happy with steering going to get the alumin bell crank

@justinnhl95 good question! this is a question i would ask myself if i were you! do you enjoy bashing more than you do racing? the blitz is a decent basher but it cannot handle the brutal landing and runnings for long. if your more into the speed aspect of things while maintaining the racing durability, than the blitz is for you.

Run ur blitz over with a chevy duramax dually I have a friend that got his slash 4x4 run over with that truck 2 bumpers were broken and a few scapes

@link4899 look,I'm not HATING Traxxas, I'm just not fan of Traxxas.Slash 4x4 is IMO great truck, but you can't compare it with Blitz. Slash is far more expensive,it's 4x4 it's more of a basher than a racer, Blitz is 2WD what doesn't make it great basher,BUT it is very durable.HPI is known for their durability. Savage is the most durable RC out there, and T-MAXX is the very opposite.I would really like TRX-HPI hating to stop.I wold like to see everyone enjoy in this, like Jetlag, respect for him!

i love this truck but sometimes,it might just be the battery,but about 7 mins into my run the motor jolts around a little and dosn't accelerate as fast.im also guna ask for a flux for christmas but i still wana know why my current motor does that.could it be the esc?

@BrandonANDBrantonTV i would have that tested if you have a spare ESC around. it could be that the motor brushed are a little messed up too. it could also be your controller getting interference.

Dude great review. i,m looking to get BLITZ or MINI TROPHY TRUCK. although there not out until next month[ uk ] i think they have same electronics. how long has brushed motor lasted? what is top speed. 25mph- 30mph would be fine. my revo vxl, rustler vxl 11.1v. are way to fast to really enjoy.

@santclause1 about 25-30 is what it does without a lipo. 45 with. the brushed motor is still in my blitz! it lasts quite awhile im guessing. im on my 1st one still.

I've become rather interest in this machine. Nitro cars have annoyed me enough.

So, With this model: 1# Did any thing come out of place out of the box? I got a Firestorm 10T and the Carb was set up back to front!

2# Does the on board electronics run off the battery

3# What type of batter are you running in the machine?

If you can answer them (or any one for that matter) It will be grateful!

#1 you can adjust the steering servo horn. just tighten the horn and turn it back a 1/2 turn.

#2 yes.

#3 smc lightning 5200mah 2 cell lipo.
