lol yours runs on the same frequency as mine (green ribbin) right out of the box. but im no longer running the stock radio. the stock radio didnt have a charging port without having to take out the batteries. im using a hitech agressor 75 mhz am radio and works good.

it is hard to drift with sticky tape on the wheels trust me mine always spins out. i did it with an Evader EXT

it's because a two wheel drive won't slide the front tires so you just have turn the front tire the right amount so it doesn't whip around and so it doesn't stop drifting if you don't believe me search formula drift if it can be done with real cars it can be done with rc cars

Yes, the Stampede is 2wd. 2wd rcs can drift, but it takes more skills. I can drift my Stampede VXL on NiMH with the right set up. It also helps when the truck is extended and almost a locked differential.

no, look at title of video. its a "Wheelie King" and it is made by HPI. when they came out they were only 2wd but you could buy the parts to convert to 4wd. now they sell both. and they should be about $200

i would suggest a traxxas XL-1 ESC, that is what is put in the rustler, stampede, bandit and 4-tec. it will handle a little lower than 20t also. and its pretty cheap and easy to find/replace.

yeah, i have a king blackffot that had a 27t in it and it went 8mph, just by putting a traxxas 20t in it and a ESC instead of the mechanical it goes 12mph, but i cant run my KBF right now. keep snapping driveshafts on the one side because of it being worn out on the drive yoke and it has steel dogbone driveshafts. already snapped 4 driveshafts. the last one i put in lasted 2 seconds b4 it broke. want to make it into universal joints but trying to figure out how.

I just bought a Wheely King 4wd truck but i've heard with the stock motor it's really slow... is this true? I ordered a 20t saturn motor hearing that it helps upgrading the speed of the truck? How difficult is it to change out the motor... would someone mind giving me the basic steps? If you could, GREAT!

the wheely king comes stock w/a 27t.......the lower you go in #'s, the faster you can go.......i had an electric evader and that came w/a 19t motor, and when i got the wheely king i gave the evader to my dad, and so at night when he gets home from wor, i would charge up both batteries and go at it on a battery or 2...........it pretty fun knowing that hes got speed on his side but i got the monster truck..........sometimes he would get a little to close and bam, theres my truck on top of his....
