you have some great chops. wish i could play traditional grip. looks sweet! I think those will be the onboard sounds of the spds. have you tried any of your own sampled loops?
You're one of my favorite drummers to listen to. Not only do you play multiple genres you exceed my expectations in them all. Ive been playing for 13 years and im still not even in your ball park. I've been following your work for 3ish years now...you're still the drummer i show my friends as "my idol" lol.
it's not the tightest thing i've ever seen, but the bit on the pad was great, and the drumming alongside it was impressive as well. loved the bit on the bells.
Hi there man, just bought that beautiful sampler, just learning how to use it. One question man, did you use any click track or metronome tu play to the sampler? or were you able to send a click from the sampler to the headphones? or none at all? thanks.
Yeah not so much. You can definately make your own click track and make it a wav file to import onto the sampler. I'm looking into that myself since the sampler doesnt have a built in metronome. You can also run a metronome through the imput jack and play along to it while sampling samples(lol) that are in the same tempo. Make sure your metronome has fresh batteries though ha.
@blastbeatshaman ohh ok ok but for example if i import the click track to play to it...would it be possible to just make ME listen to it and not the crowd?...the same thing for the input jack...
nice video man, I've been getting into a lot of break-beat and jungle drumming as well (since coming from a metal background...) I sure as hell underrated how difficult it is to play. Jojo Mayer is the man. That's a nifty device too - it seems useful for a live setting
As always some really cool stuff man!!! I dig the new sounds :)
Idk if you remember or not me talking to you about learning how to play the drums but my dads really close friend is going to teach me. I guess he's very well known in the drum world apparently or something like that. Cannot WAIT to finally learn the skins!!!
Very nice. The arrangement of it seemed very natural. I'm going to upload some vids soon of me and my spds.
