I personally feel that this movie is an epic. The animals were so involved and it didn't seem like a "created one" to me. It seemed so natural. I believe this is the best I animal movie I've ever seen. I love you Benji (: We can never have another you (:

I agree! I cryed so many when Benji leave the cubs with the cougar, but i laughed so hard when the wolf falled of the cliff! This is sad, but i felt happy cause the cubs are safe! Ther´s no more classica like this... snif... beautiful movie!

I remember this movie from my childhood. Have seen it many times, and i agree that the ending scene is very touching. The tears came when Benji finished the hard job protecting the puma-babies, she left them to the female cougar. When two of the little cubs climbed up to in a way say goodbye to Benji, oh man what a moment!! :-)

A very good movie, one of those i really remember.

I agree with you XenObia. I miss the natural animal movies like this. None of this "my dog can play basketball or sports" crap. No dialogue in this at all except for the human actors which I believe are only Benji's owner and the guy Benji steals the food from. Also, Benji was probably the best trained dog of his time. Rock on Benji!

Yup, the natural expression of the animals and the touching soundtrack is all you need to get a great movie. I hate movies where the animals talk (homeward bound being the only exception mainly because there lips don't move, god I hate when their mouth moves it's terrible...) or they do the most ridiculous things like sport or plot to take over the world or something... And don't get me going on CG movies..... Ah and yes, Benji was one helluva actor!

The dark cub always had a place in my heart. See how he/she watches Benji leave, and step-mother cougar, her cub and the three adopted cubs would have all witnessed Benji's rescue in the end.. Wonderful

Oui je parle français, c'est même ma langue première. :) Il faut faire attention sur torrentportal, faut pas essayer de télécharger les torrents provenant de lien externes, ce sont tous de faux torrents. Fait plutôt une recherche avancée et cherche Benji dans seulement la catégorie movies, ça devrait te donner 2 résultats. C'est le 2e (Walt Disney Benji The Hunted 1987...). Je viens d'essayer et il télécharge, pas très rapidement mais c'est mieux que rien! ;)

It is a beautiful story. Yet when the helicopter flew over in the end, did that mean that Benji was finally found and rescued? I wish they would have shown that instead of leaving the viewer wondering. I couldn't bear the thought of Benji being left alone in the wilderness while his owner keeps looking. Makes me sad.

Yeah, I think it suggests Benji was saved in the end otherwise they wouldn't have show the helicopter.
