Have you actually seen a couple of episodes of this show?

This show is a HUGE improvent on the old show with much better storys and character development and its a lot more exciting.

The old TMMT show was great when i used to watch it as a kid but compared to the new awesome animated shows there is today its reallý boring and the storys are not any exciting at all.

Try watching some episodes of the old show and see if it is as great as you remember.

Well its the opposite with me.

I watch animated shows all the time and i watch episodes of the old show sometimes and in my opinion its crap compared to the new show.

Except for the first episodes that were great most of the old show hade lame storylines and no character development at all and was for the most part not that exciting.

The new show got lots of dark awesome storys.

I also think the characters got much better personalitys in the new show.

The old series still holds up Cyberlance, so you're wrong.

However, I agree with on the modern series being much more liberated and mature than the more toyetic original. The modern series got away with things most shows in this era simply do not. The sole exceptions being JLU and Avatar

In the original comics there were a race of aliens called "the ultroms". When they made this, they made Shredder an outlaw ultrom that ended up on Earth and stole an ultrom human suit. Having him be a robot meant that they could do things like have his head cut off. If he'd been human that would be far too violent for the censors.
