I'm not too sure why he does that in this video. He doesn't do it when I jump him myself.. I think he might be a bit underpaced and struggles with the width here.

I'm not sure what you mean by grade.. but I'll assume that you mean level? He's jumping 3'3 - 3'6 at shows right now. Maybe I will move him up in a couple months. :)

We got him from the UK, but he is originally from the Czech Republic. I can give you the name and website of the dealer if you would like!

He's a Czech warmblood since he was born in Czech, but basically he is half Oldenburg and half Holstiner. Lots of thoroughbred blood in there as well, I'm sure you can probably tell!

He'll start off at 3'3-3'6 (1M-1.10M) this year - he is only 5 and quite green. :) He is 16.1h now, but would have been 16h when this video was taken.

yer just bringing him up through the grades, aww thats the most rewarding way is to bring them on yourslef, i had to do that with my 148 pony but its way more fun. you ll go far with him :D

That much is true, although I would love to sit on a horse that's done it, you know? I have always had the green horses - never sat on a made horse and it's kind of frustrating to have to teach them when you have never actually been there yourself!

It's just the (sound) made horses that compete where I want to compete start around 150k, and just can't afford that!

Although now that I have him, I can't say that I would ever trade this one - he is a very special boy!

i've never had a made pony either. Bringing them on makes you a better rider. Anyone can sit on a pony that has the experience to know what to do, but it takes a lot more to bring on a youngster from scratch! :D

I'm all the way over here in Canada! He is just turning 5. He tries to do the rearing thing sometimes too.. he's pretty bratty. I just dig into him and he usually quits it. Good luck fixing things. :)
