the song is really... umm... complex. That's one hell of a difficult song to dance to and Sharon just nails it with extreme precision. *bangs head on table and wails when when when can I do that*

nope, this was at the Cameo Cafe in Vancouver, BC, Canada... she was up here in Aug 2008 for a two day workshop, and they had a 'hafla-show' on the Saturday evening :)

To Zaghareet all you have to do is put your tong touching your top teeth an go "le le le le le" very fast!

We usually cover our mouths with our hand because its more respectable than showing your teeth! Sharon is one of my fave ever dancers!

I know I couldn't do anything when I saw Sharon for the fist time live! I was just totally frozen because it made such a big impression on me. So them being so quiet doens't have to be a bad thing. And I love this performance!

she does tend to put a person in a state of awe. even during workshops. she did two days with us in Vancouver, BC and this performance. seriously, i get mesmerized watching her, and all the tribal dancers of note, including my teachers. i forget to zaghareet. it's that simple. we are/were not duds. she is amazing.
