  • All you need to know about Napoleon Bonaparte: He was the biggest warlord in the human history.

  • Lemme just summarise the video

    He was a badass.

  • thanks you!! very helpful! :)

  • France and Britain were considered world powers back then and their Government and Naval conscription was aimed towards The Antilles.

  • Its not strange English people and Frensh pople have different oppinions about Bonnoparte. I think the English historybooks describes Napoleon different than the French. Just a thought. =) Sry for my bad english.

  • Do also need to know if that is the correct way of spelling his name?

  • fun fact for ya all: he was Not a midget as mostly dedscribed, he was actually around 5'9 and 190 pounds. not exactly sure about his height or weight.

  • Rule no1 for Napolean or any Frenchman

    Dont fuck with Britain

  • @konvict63

    Morel like Russia and Prussia.

  • @konvict63 He never did, Britain where the ones who wanted the war to continue, Napoleon sued for a white peace several times. However, once the English offered peace Napoleon acceped, so they changed the conditions of peace to include France giving up lots of land and return to the 1792 year borders. Napoleon refused and was defeated.

  • @konvict63

France invaded sucessfully 3 times england , on 15 major war , france has beaten 11 times England/Britain ? what did you say once again ?

  • Hey french , you know Cezzar Ahmet Pasha ! Turks are everywhere , don't forget !

  • @bulgar555 yeah, very gross.

  • @championofcathay before ,leave on NorthenAfrica dont suck his blood ! later you will coment . sorry my english is weak but you understan me ı know .

  • For my school, I need to know more about his family, I think his love life, and more about the battle of Waterloo.

  • The things Ap euro would do to you....

  • @TheTahaZiaee seriously, it's brutal.

  • he forgot gebhard von blucher.

  • Napoleon was an Atheist without the influence of Darwin and modern science.

Napoléon était un athée sans l'influence de Darwin et la science moderne.

  • VIVE BONERPARTE FAPOLEON !

  • Missed out the Battle of Leipzig :P Pretty important in his biography

  • @Taffy11000 i don't know why but it is hardly documented that very important battle wich effectively set his downfall after the russian winter, maybe because it discredits the idea that the british had the most to do with his defeat at waterloo...

  • Napoleon was, as the high-cultured say, a fucking boss.

  • You spelled his name wrong, buddy.

  • @TheUkrsoccer Yeah and he wasn't just a general he was also an Emperor

  • Keep in mind that this is a British Point of View...

  • wow i have 110 thumbs up o.0 omg :D

    thank you all

  • NAPOLEON!!!!!!!!!!!

  • so your a fan of stalin, pol pot idi amin and hitler too and if not why!?>

  • "If I had 5000 Croats U would have dinner in Moscow, if I had 100000 Croats I would conquer the world, they are the best warrior I have ever seen" - Napoleon Bonaparte

  • Now that's a life well lived lol I think it's funny how no one mentions the little guys, the soldiers who fought and died in battle, they're all just pawns. I'm the little guy of the new era, just another "nameless pawn". How can a general like Napoleon go into so many battles and dodge all the bullets? Can someone explain that to me? Why is it that the great Generals of battle have never died in battle? Or am I mistaken?

  • @HenrydeBeli general "stonewall" jackson of the confedrate army of the american civil war was killed scouting, by his own men, but is that good enough?

  • considered a dictator we should read what made him agresiv.he wanted to control europ under the conditions of "justice and equality" is one of the most important person in the history of mankind not just for europ also to the rest of the world in a very positive way , he pushed the french revolution creator of the chief of the army. an a great example that with strenght and determination everything is possible.

  • napolean was the hilter of the 1800s

  • @AshtrayanConvict - how the fuck was he? hitler was a military idiot, Napoleon was a military genuis. Hitler was a tyrant and commited genocide

  • @Steely1888 hitler gained more land in a shorter time then that upstart nepolean and nepolean was evil he killed millions of innocent ppl just because they were protecting THEIR land from his dirty rapist armies

  • @AshtrayanConvict - im guessing your english, if u wanna talk about colonisation and about people "protecting THEIR land from dirty rapist armies" then you should look into your own history pal. Britain was jelous of France and went to war with Napoleon for no other reason

  • @Steely1888 nepolean wanted to block the english out of europe because he knew they would destry his crazy aims to turn europe backward into another dark age anyway thanks to the brave asskicking russians, strong english armies, brave spainsh etc his evil empire was taken down

  • @AshtrayanConvict Disregard the fact wars were mostly declared on him.

  • @BadassBigBoss because he was a up start tyrant who only cared for his ego

  • @AshtrayanConvict I never knew that someone who had massive ego and took actions only to alter it would develope social reforms and deliver the first punch to the wall of monarchy that had democracy hidden on the other side.

  • @BadassBigBoss yeh he was so great he killed hundreds of children, women and men

  • @AshtrayanConvict Just like every other historical giant. In those times, a nations security comes from blood and voctory of others. Sad, but true.

  • @BadassBigBoss How did he take a punch at the monarchy? He was a monarch, just covered up as an Emperor.

  • @AshtrayanConvict - lol hitler gained more land in shorter time cause by this time cars and planes were in use. Napoleons men would have to march to their destinations or sail

  • @Steely1888 regardless of what you think nepolean was evil and his actions prove it if only his shortass was killed sooner maybe more lives could have been spared

  • Napoleon is probably one of the few leaders in compared to so many leaders in past and present, to attain greatness by merit, by virtue and by sheer determination.

Many so called kings or leaders in our world are there due to cronyism, being born in the right family and having corruptible corporate backing.

Napoleon through his military genius and excellent campaign successes made him extremely popular with the public.

  • How dare you address moi you adolescent worm.

  • welcome to the battle of waterloo part two

  • <3 the british acent

  • I had to get a video all about Napoleon and they were not that good but then I came to this one and its perfect! THANKZ!!! :p

  • Thumps up if your watchin this because of a report for school

  • @Mattsthename123 me to man have to do this for homework

  • @Mattsthename123 Idiot tu offense l'empereur !

  • Amongst all the generals in the 18th and 19th century, Napoleon stands out the most.

His assuredness in his judgment, his flair and ingenuity, alongside with confidence makes him stand out amongst all the greatest war time generals.

A genius commander in the battlefield like no other.

  • What did he say from 0:50 to 0:55? :( I really need to know

  • Napoleon was sent to the naval port of Toulon which he rebelled against the new French government and joined the British.--there's a really good documentary done by BBC that talks about Toulon. 0_0--watch it. ~~Hope that helps!

  • Napoleon was a phenomenom and an inspiration. I hope his name lives on forever.

  • Tactical, Political and Financial Genius. Western and Central Europe alone under his command, stayed with just that micro-empire, and all of Europe would not have a reliance on despotic nobles ignorant to FR revolution ideals. Britain would eventually go running to US To help bring down the FR empire or become a state, almost like today, and we would have had a strong ally against the soviets if Imperial France lasted to the 1900's. Bloody Brits.

  • Europe would have been better off if Napoleon had won his wars because he knew who the real enemy was, the bankers. He understood that when the government becomes dependent on bankers for money that means that the bankers are the ruler of the nation.

He would be sure to rule that kind of power from the bankers.

  • Invade Russia? Apparently Napoleon never played Risk as a kid! (via E.I. ! )

  • Vive L'e Empereur!

  • Its napoleon not napolean

  • Comment removed

  • Long live the emperor :)

  • I like him.

  • i really like the last line....:)

  • Hij moest Rusland met rust laten en zich richten op het Westen, de sukkel!

  • Napoleon was a great man and i love him because he was britain's enemy, but if u look at the modern ages history u can see he was doing exactly "NADER SHAH" plans who attacked to india and invente there but he was so kind and he let them go!he was persian!what ever, well done Napoleon!!

  • 0:23 was the time needed to hear the first lie: napoleon didn't "plunge the world into war", everyone else just kept declaring war on him!!!

  • General Winter is probably the best General to have ever existed. He beat Napoleon and Hitler, two fierce bastards. All hail General Winter.

  • He would have been fine invading Russia in the winter, but what they did is they kept retreating further into the country, but when the did retreat, they burned EVERYTHING. Houses, Stores, all the food that they couldn't carry etc. So when Napoleón got there, there was nothing to protect them from the harsh clmiate. Hitler made the same mistake.

  • lol i think hes cool

  • Weird but interesting!

  • Great General Custer, force red blue, force wolfs.

  • well, the first you, uploader, have to learn is that it is Napoleón, not NAPOLEAN!!

  • VIVE NAPOLEON,VIVE LA FRANCE!

  • Only one man who can compare to Napoleon, Alexander the Great,

  • Napoleon was the greatest general of all time

  • at maadam tusaads this guys made out to be 3 feet tall

  • Is it okay if i put this in a powerpoint presetation PLEASE

  • Not saying MrWatchman is wrong because it is true to a large extent however Napoleon was a terror. I also want to know what "American" is a strong leader?! I do not know of any. Americans talk more about Euro history than thier own so therefore I cannot say that they think they are weak. George Washington is probably mentioned 100x less than Hitler....WHO WAS WEAK

  • I just read Herman lindqvist biografy abaout him :)

  • @ seminoleboy96 My great great great great grandfather WAS Napoleon, no joke

  • my great great great granfather served under him as his aide and commander of the engineers. the reason napolean was beaten was coalition numbers and weather.

  • cool in 5 mins tanx

  • every 1 that likes Napoleon thumbs up

  • @thenapoleonlover113 jw he was a great commander but you seem like a person that would jerk hes shit to this

  • @thenapoleonlover113 lol your username...

  • @thenapoleonlover113 i would thumbs up but it`s not leting me!!

  • @thenapoleonlover113 absolutely!! :)

  • 300000 losses? DAMN! Russia is a bitch to conquer!

  • Fuck russia. and the eternal curse to it for they destroyed the greatest man in the History

  • @MichaelHollidayJr YA U R EXACTLY RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • u can never know enough about napoleon

  • @ALDERMANOFFOUNTALL

    What's next?

When rommel won a battle it was thanks to hitler ?

whoever devised the strategy employed in battle is responsible for it and credited for victory or blamd for defeat, that seems the most logic to me. Considering Napoleon wasn't here and wouldn't have been able to even transmit a battle plan to villeneuve, he wasn't defeated at Trafalgar.

His admiral and his fleet was defeated at Trafalgar, not him

  • @ALDERMANOFFOUNTALL

    No

If trafalgar was won by the french, it would have been credited to villeneuve

Napoleon was a "ground" commander. He didn't define the strategy employed at Trafalgar, so, he wasn't defeated there. That's like saying wellinton won trafalgar or Nelson won waterloo.

    Irrelevant

  • @ALDERMANOFFOUNTALL

I don't see your point. Napoleon wwasn't an admiral, so, well, Napoleon himself wasn't defeated at Trafalgar, Villeneuve was. That's all.

  • I am a huge Frenchy, and other than some people like Ben Franklin and others, Napoleon is one of my role models. AND PLEASE stop talking about the epic rap battle, you can comment about that on that video, but not this one!

  • HE IS THE EMPEROR OF THE LOLLIPOP GUILD :D

  • thumbs up if u were here foor epic rap battles

  • I'll break your bone apart, Bonaparte!

  • bonaprate? his name is bonaparte. and great video!

  • bonaprate? his name is bonaparte

  • *cough* Waterloo, Trafalgar *cough*

  • @MrDeano324

    he wasn't at trafalgar

  • @Kamfrenchie

who said he was?, France were there wernt they?.

  • @MrDeano324

yes but i mean it doesn't count as "someone defeating napoleon " in this case

  • im going to shove your moon boots right up your poop shoot!

  • 1.Napoleon

    2.Alexander

    3.Hitler

  • @88dragons88 what about Hannibal and Julius Caesar?

  • @HighRiseChateau I don't ever remember reading shit about a literal "Napoleon complex" in history. Stop making shit up.

  • @HighRiseChateau Odd, i don't recall anything REMOTELY like that in our textbooks. Infact, Napoleon is often regarded as second only to Alexander. I distinctly remember reading Napoleon as "One of the greatest military strategists of all time" in my "American history book" just around 5 years ago.

  • @XxxSakura101 Different publisher maybe. I guess I shouldn't have spoken for all American textbooks, but all the ones I've used basically put a negative spin on him and didn't make him sound nearly as badass as he really was.

  • @HighRiseChateau thts true they teache lies also they leave out history of africans which pisses me off and in our tb they make him seem small maybe he was

  • @itzindeeznutsnigg77 I just learned that Napoleon was of average height. The lie that Napoleon was short was started by the English.

  • @HighRiseChateau I cant speak for every American school but my History teacher and textbook regarded Napolean as one of the greatest generals of the world. He said that the Coalition forces would have probably lost if not for the Prusians, said Rommel could have knocked the Allies out of Africa had he had more supplies, said Winston Churchill was one of the many leadrs responsible for and Allied Victory, Said if Caesar had lived longer that Roman influence would be much further,

  • @HighRiseChateau amen, sir, amen.

  • @HighRiseChateau thats weird, im from california and napoleon is put on a pedestal in my textbook! they wrote about him in almost every chapter in the entire unit covering america. i loved reading about napoleon.

  • Hitler forgot about Napoleaons failure in Russia when he tried to inavde

    those damn winters!!!!!!!

  • it is so very clear.. the illuminati could not allow nepoleon to be.. the politburo.. the parliments, the congress.. all ruled by the power of money ..they rule the world and write the history.. napoleon only thought of the people and what was best for them, he knew that the ruling class had to go for men to be free.. but the illuminati defeated him as they have defeated all lovers of freedom in all nations of the world. and then they write the history.

  • Think twice before invading Russia lol

  • @humanipod35 tell that 2 hitler he made the same mistake

  • @theJRLMchannel Actually he had no choice. If he didn't do it in the winter he had to wait another year.

  • @88dragons88 well eitheir way they both could just have waited to invade until spring and then theyd be there by summer i mean one year later isnt as bad as losing the war

  • I'm related to him! Jealous, it's ok I know you are.

  • @Kerce13 yeah right, the only people one related to him is a rich man who married the daughter of a royal family.Holy crow,I can't remember his name :P.....But,if you are truly his relative, then yes,I am VERY jealous :3

  • the only type of dynamite thats never going to bang :) lol

  • @darrrienify

Sacrebleu T'as une tete faire Sauter les plaque degout

    Lol

  • welcome to the battle of waterloo part 2

  • Napolean was a terrorist and also was a dictator god damn him!

  • @pizpiza009 god damn him? he invented the civilian code and decreed the freedom of religion. he built modern europe as we know it! he is the first man to have the idea of an united europe.he ruled autocratically because he could not reorganise the postrevolutionary ruined france otherwise. anda how was he a terrorist?

  • Vive L'empereur ,vive La FRANCE !!!!!!!

  • the greatest general ever !

  • Ill rip your bones apart bonaparte!

  • @MrWatchmen759 No-one cares what you have to say, just go doodle up some friends you gangly freak show! :)

  • really why would you want to take over Russia if its just snow over there.

  • epic rap battle of history

  • AFTER THIS YOUR BUDDY PEDRO WILL BE VOTING FOR ME

  • @Dwain9695 lol

  • @MrWatchmen759 im with you 100% FUCK THE AMERICANS

  • @TheZooomm sure

  • I don't care about how many like stupid Prussians you killed because to me your just the emperor of the lollipop guild LMAO

  • - that he was a total cunt?

  • @maureenOWW u jelly?

  • Hitler: the god of war sent me to win the war

Napoleon: I dont remember sendig anyone

  • fak nd gay

  • Adolf Hitler's "favorite person" was NB

  • Ah, Bonaparte. My second favorite Napoleon next to Napoleon Dynamite.

  • man, russia has a natural defense the freaking cold!!

    thats cheating

  • @admeraljacob somemore with so many nations fighting him alone

  • @admeraljacob haha, lol

  • @admeraljacob Yep, the Russians have always had General's Land, Mud, Winter, and Patriotism fighting hard for them.

  • @admeraljacob WOW shut up

  • @admeraljacob Just in case you didn't know he was practically defeated before the cold harsh winters came about.

  • @wrules no he was not 'practically defeated' the only reason he was defeated after the failed attempt to sack moscow and end russia is because his grand armee (dont have french simbol :P) was completely destroyed by the russian winter. he sent 400,000 troops into russia, and came back with 10,000+, which means his whole army was gone just because of the russian offensive so if he didnt do that, he wouldve had 400k troops to take spain, portugal, and britian in a month, if only he had a navy

  • @napbonaparte1805 the winter only had a major effect once Napoleon was in full retreat, saying that "In regard to the claims of "General Winter", the main body of Napoleon's Grande Armée diminished by half during the first 8 weeks of his invasion before the major battle of the campaign. This decrease was partly due to garrisoning supply centres but disease, desertions and casualties sustained in minor actions caused thousands of losses

  • @admeraljacob and still they got pwnd in the winter war

  • @admeraljacob All if fair in love and war .

  • @admeraljacob It worked for them.

  • i luv napoleon

  • Why were the Napoleonic troops using bolt-action rifles in the film? You can have just used a random rifle/musket from the time....

  • Viva imperatorem Napoleonum Magnum! Magnus Dux!
