It was announced May 8, that Morning Musume 10th Generation Audition submissions are starting now til June 13th. According to the news there will be 2 girls added after Takahashi Ai's Graduation. This is shocking, yet exciting news to fans, considering that it's been just 5 months since the 9 Generation joined. The first day of auditions is on June 13th.

This is kinda sad in a way. I see it as the end of Morning Musume, since Yossy left. After Yaguchi Mari was out, to me Yossy was the last piece of greatness in the group. Not that Tsunku couldn't write another great song for it someday, but the band itself is not anything special any more as far as I'm concerned. I'm not saying that Aichan can't sing (she can!), and Gaki-san used to be unintentionally funny on some of the non-musical stuff they did, but it just doesn't seem GREAT any more.
