Fix the video opening in new window problem by disabling ffdshow. Weird thing is that a number of the MVs are vertically flipped (ie upside down). Wut?

I followed the directions right. But for some reason when I click on bm2dx.exe in the cracked folder. It pops up a small black screen on the left top of the screen and it disappears. Dont know why I tried different ways. If anyone can help thanks.

How to get this program working. Tested with win7 64 Ultimate. Please read steps 1-7 first before starting, to avoid the problems that i had. :)

step 1: extract the file ending in ".001"

step 2: disable your antivirus *very important*

step 3: extract the ".rar" file. It will give you 2 folders, one called "cracked" and one called "DJHACKERS-iidx17oops"

(*note* if you failed to disable your antivirus your cracked folder will be missing a file called config.exe which will cause you to not be able to assign your buttons, and will cause thousands of dos prompt windows to open, which for me resulted in a BSOD)

step 4: move the folder called "cracked" into the folder where you extracted the thing that took 30+ minutes. So basically in that folder you should have 4 folders. "2009102100, 2009102300, cracked, and data"

step 5: there is a file in the folder "DJHACKERS-iidx17oops" called 1704.1: copy and paste the file to ...\data\sd_data\1704 Overwrite when prompted.

step 6: in the folder called "cracked" run as admin "bm2dx.exe" once it loads alt+f4 it to close it.

step 7: now run (double click) config.bat (it is also in your cracked folder); yes you have to config the controls after you've successfully started the game at least once or you will get the HDD error. If for some reason you tried to cheat the steps and are getting the error; delete the cracked folder, re-extract the .rar file, and replace the cracked folder, and do step 6 again.

When I launch the file after the screen "game booting", a screen appears with the message at the bottom left line "Network off" and it exits.

If I run as admin, the game exits immediately and Windows XP has no wallpaper.

i have done alot, got to the system boot, then it flashes with free play at the bottom left and a small green rectangle on the bottom right, then goes straight to desktop, i know how to fix alot of the problems now though, had to do alot to get this far, btw i'm on xp and iidx 15 troopers runs fine on my rig, tripple core.

Alrighty, so I finally got it to bypass the NETWORK check (you have to run it as Admin)

Now I'm getting these 5-1505-000 ERROR that everyone's getting.

I used timebase.exe (download it from Demonoid)

I ran it, then copied over the 1704.1 file to fix it's corruption, but I get this error now.  :(

Any fix for it?

Alright, I extracted everything properly, I configured my controls, but when I run the bm2dx.exe, I have a black window that pops up, goes fullscreen, and then disappears. I was able to run IIDX 12 HDD (almost) without any problems, and I've tried to run it as administrator... Any ideas on how to make it work?

Open the .001 file with 7-zip and extract everything into a folder (lets say in this case IIDX17) after that FINALLY finishes take the 1704.1 file and replace the one that's in data/sd_data/1704

Then extract and move the 'cracked' folder to where you extracted everything (in this case IIDX17) run config.bat to configure your controls, then run the bm2dx.exe from inside the 'cracked' folder.

The only thing that should have gotten overwritten is the 1704.1 file.

So I'm having troubles with this as well.

Extracted it all, copied what I needed to.

Then I try to run the config.bat and it runs an endless loop of msdos stuff opening and doesn't stop until I reboot.

If I try to run the cracked .exe it just gives me an error and I can't do anything D=

Turn off your Anti Virus(I know..) then extract config.exe back to where config.bat is at.

Then run config.bat and configure your controls. After your done you can either delete config.exe or turn your Anti Virus back on and let it do it for you, but don't worry about your controls , they'll still be saved.

I never ran timebase and it works fine for me (XP x64)

question about this and other HDD rips: Is there a way to make it STOP resetting my volume to medium? It seems like when it boots up, it sets my system volume to 50%...then I set it back down...then I press start, and the HDD rip sets my volume to 50% again. This makes my ears bleed. Is there a way to get around this?

To all those who have trouble with their buttons not pressing all at the same time, or their buttons react too slow, google "HIDUSBF" without quotations.

and for those who have trouble running it on something like Vista and 7, recommend to always right click and "Run As Administrator"

download the CCC pack (Codec community pack). once downloaded, go to start --> programs --> media player codec pack or something like that along the lines) and open FFDSHOW Video Configuration. disable MPEG-1 and 2. there should also be some type of related files to MPEG that comes with your downloaded SIRIUS.

Here's a heads up for IIDX Sirius HDD players/downloaders : I am not sure if song 1704.1 in sd_data is corrupt in this torrent, but this song for some reason gets corrupt every time you apply a calibration with timebase. So keep a backup copy of 1704.1 that is not corrupt.
