there's just something about running that good old sound through a alnico magnet speaker. It tickles my insides every time.

why are Jensen speakers so expensive (the vintage ones)? I saw a pair of the ugliest most non-impressive looking speakers ever going for 30k! OLD things too!

nice driver. i got a set of jensens in my 1952 ge musaphonic but some dummy before me took the drivers out and tore the cones a bit

(though half-assed repaired atleast theyre intact)

just gotta get the cash for recones paperwise those drivers fetch quite a bit nowadays

@1500Tb Close but it its alnico, some jensen speakers like this one have a bell cover that goes over the magnet itself. AlNiCo is an alloy made from Aluminum, Nickel and Cobalt.

it looks like a classroom intercom speaker. At my high school, we still used an old 1950s intercom system even when I graduated in 2004, and the speakers were just like that, only the cloth in the front was dark brown.
