"The American Heart Association has changed the guidelines regarding abdominal thrusts. They are no longer recommended for unconscious choking and neither are blind finger sweeps. It can be confusing since the guidelines change every five years; we make sure we take updated courses so we can keep up with the latest guidelines. We appreciate your question!"
Nice video! I have always wanted to learn this (im 13) because my family is a eating family so if there if there is an occasion.. someone chokes.. this is great

Instead of CPR first wouldn't you try to do abdominal thrusts then see if you can sweep the mouth?
