Being one of the best tattoo artists working today I'm going to assume that Shige charges at least $300.00 per hour. If an average session goes 6-8 hours that's $1800 to $2400 dollars per session. A pretty penny but well worth the time for someone of his caliber. So let's say you want a large piece on your back and you haven't had any work done yet. A tattoo covering most of your back could easily take around 100 hours or more depending how much detail you want. Now you're looking at $30,000 +.
why dont people just contact the artist about the pricing? how hard is it to use google? most of the people that have to ask cant afford it anyway haha, hell, I dont have to ask and I know I cant afford it haha. Shige is the man. take notes you little fuckin scratchers out there.
