Funny, Duke Nukem 3D plays better with the N95 (and that was an abandoned project).

Still a nice phone

dude, maybe you would like to check the resolution of these phones, xperia has 800x480 and n95 has 320x240

It's a port of the old pc game Duke Nukem 3D.

As for being free... sort of. The application itself is free, BUT you need the duke nukem 3d game files to play which are not included in the pack.

So, if you happen to own already Duke Nukem 3D, yes, it is free.

i have a P910a, P990i, and N95-4.

I´m thinking about buying this mobile, but i´ll wait until it´s prices represent the reality brought by it.

It´s nice, but it´s really really slow, and full of troubles. Something like the P990.

Its not slow.. and compared to the p990i its 4x better (atleast this phone has 256mb ram compared to the 64)

The speed of the device is sufficient for fluid internet+music playback at the same time.. and the p990i CANT do that.. music already stutters on p990i when you go to the main menu...

ok my p990i can play duke nukem smooth and xperia may not .. but that p990i uses the gpu (power vr mbx) and this windows mobile version doesnt use the ATI imageon chip inside. And sorry for double post :P

I can play Duke Nukem 3d better than in Xperia.

Im not talking about P990 is better than Xperia. Thats imposible.

I mean that Xperia is really slow taking knowledge of it tech specs.

True :P xperia is really slow compared to non qualcomm cpu phones .. probably because that lame ati imageon chip lacks driver support ... But on papers/specs it should fly :/

I agree with you. N97 has slow tech specs and the rumors say it will FLY.

I think the matter has been migrate OS. A Symbian OS with Xperia tech specs could be umbeatable.

I agree it's got a shocking framerate, it's not opengl es optimised, I tried it and erased it from my xperia, it's insulting. There is a game released by sony errison that uses the 3d chipset of the xperia, it can be found by typing : xperia 3d game in the google search engine. It gives me hope considering opengl es 2 capable founds will be out at the end of this year like the toshiba phone.
