  • THANNKSSS I'm so subscribed to you sir

  • @DajaWaja - Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed this.

  • If you look about .015-.022 you can see Uncle Josh on the left side slapping a bass. Must be before they put him on the dobro where his real talent was.

  • Fabulous early recording of this mind boggling band. You can see here that his touch on guitar is just as unique as his banjo work. He was universally copied on both instruments.....The notes can be duplicated, but the sound NEVER has been.

  • Two of my all time fave guitar pickers were more known as banjo men... Earl Scruggs and Don Reno. Both were among the first string wizards/super pickers!

  • @BlueBassBoss AMEN!! I wish Earl would've recorded a guitar album---he is one of the most original guitar stylists in country music!

  • ...You really CAN feel it in your soul. That's how I knew I was a believer eventhough I was not brought up going to church. This song is beautiful, isn't it ? Just beautiful !

  • @CARROLLCTYDOBROGIRL Me too!

  • @Pickinbuddy ....Yes it's really amazing how you can feel God's presence. Where would we be without our relationship with our dear Lord and saviour? Nice to hear a pretty song proclaiming this special feeling!

  • never saw Earl playing that guitar before!! cool!
