  • two gods of music on stage, playing this incredible song - it's a real miracle that kingston wasn't sucked into a vortex caused by a rift in the space-time-godlike music-continuum. and oh man, i can only IMAGINE what kind of serious, legendary weed must have been going around at this concert, i mean, my GOD

  • Oh MY GOSH!!!

BIG RESPECT TO AFRICAN AMERICA FROM SOUTH AMERICA TO ALASKA, FROM YOUR NATIVE AMERICAN BROTHER FROM BITTER WATER CLAN. BLESS YOU GREAWT MUSICIANS PRAISING THE GREAT SPIRIT, AND YES I SHOT THE SHERIFF FOR SELF DEFENSE.

  • Two of the greatest musical minds ever. I still wish they had put a joint album together. That would've been awsome. Anyway, I'm just geeked I finally found this. I didn't even know it existed 'til now.

  • Best wishes to all the Rastas best people on the planet

    I love you all\

    your friendly Catholic friend

    , 75020, Paris.....Come to Me, & You will See !!!!!..... CCCC

  • @mytotallyawesomename

pUSI kURAC pEDERCINO jEDNA !!!!, so Fuckkkkkk You Alllll Racists & Bastards

  • @ElectricBlueCitrus - The story is partly true. Bob wasn't scared - he just didn't appreciate Prince's lifestyle or way of dressing. Remember, Bob was a Devout Rastaman.

  • STEVIE avec un gros spliff à la main ??

    irie !

  • I second the big ups? what's next the beetles bob and stevie? this is awesome, granted the sound quality coudn't be helped. BTW if you are in Chicago, Wild Hare bar has a nice photo of Stevie and Bob

  • nice !

  • STEVIE & BOB??? WOW! ONE OF THE GREATEST DUETS IN MUSIC HISTORY!

  • @MrsD7777 and the jackson 5 as well. they toured jamaica back in the day. master blaster is totally influenced by marley

  • @MrsD7777 Stevie played with Hendrix too!

  • @2patero Yeah but Jimi was being a bit of an asshole to Stevie Wonder. He had disdain for what he called the R&B crap, of Motown & other soul artist. Stevie was a teenager, & Jimi tried to kill Stevie on his guitar! His Guitar playing was off the chainz as usual, but Stevie held his own on those drums. Jimi lucky Stevie did'nt get on the Keys, organ or clavinet & harp,I bet Jimi would've got some act-right then! Stevie Wonder= God of ALL Music!

  • @mrinnervisionz JMH didn't have disdain for r&b or Motown. In fact, he mastered and incorporated all the hooks, rhythms, and accents within these genres in his ecclectic synthesis and reinvention of black music. He came to shun the formulaic nature of Motown, just as Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder would. JMH was actually a humble guy and he put together an interesting and creative proto funk effort with SW. You are right: SW held his own. Future collaboration between the two was inevitable.

  • @drjimiboy69 In the book "Becoming Hendrix," there is a specific quote where he says that when he was in r&b bands, that he hated playing the same songs over and over again, while being held back because he was just a sideman by his bandleader. he said he was fine listening to the stuff, but hated playing it lol, from being forced to do it for so long.

  • thats it....Stevie has played with just about EVERY awesome artist, like ray charles, bob, james brown, michael jackson, himself lol.

  • They had an American tour planned prior to Bob's death. Would have been legendary.

  • Before white people like sublime ruined Jamaican music in the U.S.

  • @HendrixPrinceFlea89 quote "tried to ruin"!

  • @HendrixPrinceFlea89 I'm curious to how Sublime or 'white people' ruined Jamaican music in the US. That makes absolutely no sense. Jamaican music ruined itself; they all want to be pop stars now and focus more on Dancehall than Reggae. I love when people take this racial purity stance with music, i guess trying to sound knowledgeable or something, yet they over look the fact that 90% of the time the artists colaberators/producers/co-writers/band-members/inspirations included white people.

  • @TheStudioDankster I'm blk and i agree with U & Those who know the TRUE history of Jamaica, Rastafari, & Reggae Music. SKA & ROOTS Reggae came before Dancehall, and ROOTS Reggae was the only music that Bob performed, because ROOTS Reggae is the "Spiritual" music that speaks of Praise to YAH, Empowerment of the People, Folk Stories like "I Shot the Sheriff", their fight for "Legalization It", & Hallie Sellasi I, etc. Mantis Yahu (a white Hasidic Jew) is a new ROOTS artist and very Spiritual!

  • @HendrixPrinceFlea89 I don't think "white people" have anything to do with what you are trying to say. There are some really good "white" reggae artists like Albarosie, Collie Buddz, Groundation, John Browns Body, etc..

As far as Sublime they were not reggae they were just reggae influenced kind of like The Police.

  • @DoubledUpIrish They were ska influenced which was an early form of reggae

  • incredible

  • How did you get this , were you there? I knew they were friends and I heard rumors of colabs , but... you're a champ for this.. are you rich, how did you get this?!

  • does anybody know what the exact date of this is??????

  • @drumspace october 11th 1975

  • amazin =)

  • i love this one love:)

  • Big up for the post, even if it was recorded with a tin can and a length of string. It's just great to know this gig even happened

  • @JayBlanche

hahahahah :D "with a tin can and a length of string." :D

  • @JayBlanche That is so fuuuuny and sooo true!

    Damn!

  • Amazing!!

  • One retard did not like this, must have an NME critic. What a loser!Thank you very much for this. What a revelation.Marley and Wonder together.Superb upload.

  • these are two of my favorite artists ever! i never knew they did a duet

  • unbelievable. mr marley and mr. wonder. couldn't have asked for more. great upload!

  • nice

  • strange.... did they replace carlton barret for this event ? i don't hear him ? who is drumming here ? so probably these are not the original wailers here but a jamaican jam band for the occasion...but yes the vocals are bob and steve.

  • bob, bunny, peter and stevie all at once F*CK me if there was ever a better idea

  • Why was it 'infamous'?

  • Seriously Bob Marley and Stevie Wonder together was just genious. Definitley dug this. They were great together.

  • it wld be better if u have the footage do u ?

  • Thank you for sharing, are there other recordings? maybe playing something from Stevie, that would be awesome too...

  • how come this does not have 10 million views....amazing find, great upload

  • Yes! How come not 50,000,000 - Moreover, people may not be aware that Stevie Wonder had arranged for a Worldwide Tour with Stevie which had to be cancelled because of Bob's untimely death. It would have been unbelieveable!!!

  • that would have been amazing....

  • @flightfitness Because it's not mainstream enough these days lol...

But don't care of that since you seem to know what's good music! :D

  • @flightfitness Beause the world of music has fallen into a dark chasm of cloned computer generated autotune saturated bullshit! When all you hear is Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and Kanye West on mainstream airwaves you know these are the prophesied signs of the end of days! Lol

  • @flightfitness Because the opening picture is of Stevie, and not Bob, Stevie is great but Bob is Legendary.

  • stevie performed again with bob in philly 1979...

  • WTF? Marley and Stevie? Just shut it all down right the f now! This is Legendary. Not to mention Bunny And Peter also there. Big up for this post.

  • lol! That was my exact reaction!

  • @miRasJamal I NEVER KNEW these two EVER got together !!!

  • @miRasJamal

Do you know how long I've been looking for a paring of these two? My two fav artists of all time.

  • thank you for posting this piece of history

  • this was a concert for blind children in jamaica

  • bad audio men

  • amazing , is the only artist duet with bob ?

  • I've never posted a comment on here but I owe you for life. Please post more of this concert..

  • Do you have a rare As Always?

  • Let me understand, why "infamous wonder dream performance"? (sorry for the ignorance)

  • @ ThoughtfulMind... the Wonder Dream concert was the last ever performance of the original Wailers; Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer in 1975

  • Stevie and Marley.. nuff said!

  • 2 legends together..amazing..cheers mate u made my day

  • thank you, please keep on posting this stuff. IÄm only 20 but a big SW fan, I was second row on his last tour in Germany!

  • Great post, stevie on the track adds a whole new spin! this is tight
