It wasn't bad. You just have to consentrat on singing in your own voice and not trying to sound like Mariah. I know when you listen to the singer and start singing the sound it's hard not to try and sound just like them, but if you hit certain notes in your own range you can control your pitch and keep your voice from getting screetchy. Find your own range and style of singing, and you will be OK.
