last year was favre's first year with single digit interceptions. on the jets he threw 22 tds and 22 picks! and thats good? then last year he made the usual favre-terrible-decision-across-his-body-into-coverage throw that cost his team the superbowl. and this year he has more picks than tds. you cant call that good. his "best" years were in the mid 90s. i havent had a problem with him until he started all this drama. if he had retired after this ^^^ it woulda been alright. but no, favre blew it
@DannyIgnite why cuz i'm making legitimate points? I spend about 1 minute per day on this argument, and obviously you do too. the only difference is im actually arguing my point that favre is a once-good washed up drama queen, and you're just insulting me!
wait, what # retirement is this? 2,3, 500? I'm guessing 20 more years in the NFL and this guy's ego will be satisfied. I guess he just feels he has more key picks to throw. After all, the guy hasnt won a ring in over 10 years!!!
@goceltics339 How many superbowls have you won? 2:53-3:38.. You wouldn't know what it's like to love the game like he does. You put him down, but when you're 40 you won't be able to hack a 3 hour game, let alone a 16 game regular season
@DannyIgnite2:53 to 3:38 BULLSHIT if he cared so much about the team he wouldve been in training camp with them. If he didn't care about money he wouldn't need the Vikings to throw money at him to get him to come back. If he's not an ego maniac, why is offseason news centered around him every year because he acts like a baby. Give me a break.
@goceltics339 Wow. Very mature language. If i loved the but was 40yrs old, i'd take my time in my decision too. If you can make the money, why not? He does have a family and he is going to retire from his career. He doesn't act like a baby. The press is on him because he's a living legend! He's statistically the best QB in the history of the NF, but he'd have to be an Oscar worthy actor to pull off an acting job if that was his aim. Oh, and if you're going to reply, please don't use curse words.
@DannyIgnite He's a drama queen, that's why the press is on him. It's become a joke, Favre retires EVERY YEAR then wow, he comes back, who would of believed it??? He's not even close to being the best QB in the NFL with 1 championship and 0 in the last decade! Guy doesn't know when to quit. If he wants to play football so bad he can continue to run around in the mud with his levi-jeans-model pals. Phony.
@goceltics339 HE IS STATISTICALLY PROVEN AS THE BEST. Who cares if he doesn't know if he wants to come back?? Why do you gotta hate on legend?? You're just a straight up hater dude
@DannyIgnite stats don't mean anything its all about rings thats why Joe Montana was great, thats why Tom Brady's great. I was never a Favre "hater" until he started pulling these B.S. retirements every year and basically being an attention seeking idiot. Serves him right to get hit in the nuts with the ball recently, and get caught with some scandal with the team massouse (cant spell it). Yeah yeah he was good 10 years ago but now he's just an old bum and a joke.
@goceltics339 You really have no life huh? I mean seriously, apart from saying stats don't mean anything (which is completely insane), you have such an animosity toward someone you don't even know. He has more heart than any QB today. Quit hating on someone just because you can't be him.
@DannyIgnite winning>stats. and i dont hate him for no reason. its not like i walk around all day trashing favre. i came to this video to see his dramatic, cheesy retirement speech, which he didnt even follow up on! and since then he's "officially retired" like 2 or 3 more times! i sure dont wanna be a 40 year old pick-throwing egotistical NFL player. I get that he loves the game and blah blah blah but he'd do everyone a favor by retiring and going home to hunt with his family or whatever
@goceltics339 He's the best. He's been great longer than any QB. The year with the Jets and last year with the Vikings were some his best!!! Straight up dude. What's wrong with you?
I respect his love for the game, and I wouldn't blame him for missing the game, I just wish he would make up his mind already!!!!!!!!!!, I wonder if he will play longer than George Blanda
the day mike and ted had the confrence my momm told me he retired i cried all day and i went in my backyard and pretended to be brett and when i watched this i cried softly and rememberd all the games and all the plays he did and in my dream i had mostly every good play and my school said i diddnt have to go to school cause i like the biggest fan of favre in utah

@hockeyfanredwings No, he's the best by numbers and by heart. Romo is the most overrated because he's part of the most overrated team ever.
