  • Are you still making shirts?

If so I may just have to buy one (or two) if I get my work experience.

  • Awesome, watched all the clips till this one in like 4 days. Tempted to order one :D

  • loving the union jack in the background at the start of the vid!

from an old limey across the pond

  • Awesome dude, I just donated. So you have to send your first shirt do Sweden I assume? :D

  • heh heh. Actually, after the US, Sweden is the biggest GRP shirt buying country. I think I've sent about 20 there.

  • You should build a dome over here to man, same climate, cheap land and everybody speaks english. It's F***ing ideal man. It can be your summer cabin, when you wanna get away from... ehm, never mind. :P

  • Yea but we're special too and we want GRP shirts too...so...yea XD

  • I JUST DONATED :)

    can't wait for my t-shirt now :)

  • The question has been asked before but anyways, How do they hold up in the wash? Does the paint fade and/or does it colour other stuff?

  • I was wondering this myself, because of the whole spray paint thing. Hey Jamie, how do you wash your clothes anyway?

  • The paint seems to be fine. Ever try to get spray paint off your clothes? heh heh. Actually, Dashaina washes the crap out of hers, and they're looking good.

  • "I screw robots!"

  • YAY! i just got mine in the mail! Thanks!!!!!!!!!! wohoo now i need to build a giant robot...!

  • i just sent u a donation cause i cant think of anything i want more right now than that t-shirt.

Im the guy called Nick who lives in london england :D i hope it gets to me ok. and i hope the $20 will get u some good robot parts :)

    VIVA LA ROBOT

oh and if you could sign the shirt that'd be awesome too :)

  • Sweet! Ya, I got it, and yep, I can sign it. :-)

I still think its funny that people want my signature. :-P ....but cool.

...and yes! 20$ gets some great parts! I got Dashaina to print out address labels to mail shirts, and I made a vacuum table to make it easier to spray paint them. Oh... you'll see in a video coming up . :-)

  • ok i want for all my family ! expect me visiting your website jeje

  • sweet! Ya, I finally updated my website with shirt getting instructions. Of course, a few people already ordered them from the instructions on here.

  • Kewl shirts.....you should add Deshanea (sp? sorry) to your shirts somehow. Other than that I really enjoy your videos, and like how you keep life simple.

  • oh... you're right. She's way prettier than I am. She probably deserves her own shirts. ha ha.

  • i screw robots

  • ha ha. My little sister told me that one.

  • I thought it was pretty clever :P

  • okey, just gotta say this: That shirt is made of awesome.

  • heh heh. thanks! I did try to build as much aweseomeness into them as possible.

  • i hate the junkyards that don't let you take stuff away - that would be perfect. i live less than a mile away from one and whenever i go i see all the suff and i'm like "oh, i want it all", and i can't :(

  • can you sneak in at night? heh heh.

I got great stuff at the junkyard today. its gonna ba pain getting it all home, though! ha ha

  • Why not use redbubble[DOT]com? You design shirts, upload them, then people can buy them from the website and the website does all the work of producing them and sending them out. =]

  • Well.... because thats just not how I do things, I spose. I like doing things myself.

A lot of comapnies like that take the imagination out of things.

There's no variation. ....no excitement. ...no human interraction. This way I get to directly make something for someone, and they get to recieve a personal item.

    I guess I'm sentimental. ...a little. :-P

  • Oh well I guess that makes sense. Don't mind me being nerdy 8]

  • I like your custom-made ones way better, because every one is a little different! You just don't get that with factory made T-Shirts.

Plus if you are wearing one and someone asks about it, you can't tell them that the guy building the Giant Robot spray painted it by hand. Cool!

  • heh heh. yyyep!

  • Dude, he is probably on the watch list for the FBI....if things get a little more..um...armed shall i say...then he will graduate from little Muhamid to ACHMED THE TERRORIFYING TERRORIST!

  • Ha ha. Ya, I sometimes wonder if I'm on some FBI list somewhere. I sort of match the profile of certain trouble makers in a lot of ways.

....just to reitterate fo anyone listening, though, I don't like hurrting people!

  • Lol, gotta refil my paypal....damn.....

  • heh heh. I just used mine to buy ball bearings.

  • Hey Man, What is your dome size and frequency? Thanks buddy, I don't know if I Could build a 30ft 4v dome, seems a little complicated for a rookie. Do you think a 23.5ft dome would be enough or should I stop worrying and take the risk 30ft 4v?

  • 30ft!!!! Make is huge! I have no idea what 4v is, though, or how frequency relates. Gimme a sec to look up dome lingo....

    ...

    ...

....uhh... ok , i don't have time to do that. Its like a soccer ball with each hexagon and pentagon connected in the middle to make triangles.

The pipes are around 5ft long each.

the dome diameter or the domameter is about 24ft.

  • He's much less vulgar lol, but definitely awesome in the same light :)

  • giant bolt looks fairly phalic

  • @adams116

Cool shirt....all though, i would have to agree with you...I have a suggestion, and that would be to make the bolt a little more...um....squarish....

  • Hmmm.... I'll see what I can do. :-P I like the bolt, though. Wait, is it the bolt in I screw robots, or the bolt on the back? ...cuz the bolt on the back is more of a big steel pin.

  • I would like to quit my stupid job and go get myself some education in ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING YEAH perhaps I should look into giantrobot apparel.

  • We need a name for that damned frog.

    I vote "poop poop".

  • I'm so tempted to buy one! One question though. Wouldn't spray paint wash off or run in the washer? That means I'll never be able to wash it if it does.. :(

  • "I love robots" sounded nice :)

    "I screw robots" ...that's just ... yeah ^^;

and I found that "sunbreeze" part really funny :D

  • GIANT ROBOT JEANS. Is there a difference in price ?

  • heh... "I've got giant roboting to do" I can just hear you saying to Dashaina "I'll be down in the banana building doing some giant roboting"

  • Morning sunbreeze is definately a yellow!!! :D Nice work on the shirts!!!!!!!!!

  • will the spray paint hold up in the wash? cause i definitely want one that i can wear all the time

  • dood, is it a squirrel or a chipmonk?! make up your mind!!!!

Oh, and how do the shirts look after you wash them a few times? (I'm curious as this looks like a good idea)

  • sweet

  • sweet!

  • sweet! i just ordered one :-D

    happy happy :)

  • sweet!

  • frog = mini mascot?

  • ha ha. ya. I hope I don't step on him.

  • Omg the shirts are amazing!!!!!

I am so going to order a bunch for my kids for school for next year!

  • yay! I'm glad you like 'em! I'm going to send one to my little brother and sister too. :-)

  • Totally getting one of these and wearing it the day it arrives, even if I work. Also awesome job so far with the project, it's an inspiration for me to crack down on my novel.

  • Wow, thats great! Thats really cool that inspiration isn't bounded by project type. Good luck on the novel! I'd love to hear when its done. :-)

  • Just sent you a video response on some of the stuff that I find at the yunk yards ~S~

  • Hmmm only problem now is you will be making more T-shirts then working on the GRP lol

  • im sure some of us could wait :-) i'd rather see the GRP being done than t-shirts anyways lol!

  • Your going to get overwhelmed with shirt orders friend. Ha Ha.

I'm going to get mine plus a couple for my kids.

  • lol i would like mine with black shirt red writting

  • ya. t-shirts do make things official, don't they. :-P

  • I'm wearing that on the first day when I go back to school, and everyones gonna say, "aww thats so much cooler than my entire wardrobe!"

    HURRAY JAMIUS!

  • heh heh. Ya. Thats how I feel right now. Everyone keeps looking at me all wierd... like.... oh my gosh... how does that guy have such a cool shirt! :-P

  • Sweet!! Can I get my two autographed?

  • Ha ha, yes! I can autograph them. :-P You're the first order, by the way. :-) I just popped online real quick to check. Thanks!!!!

  • Wow, very nice, I would really like to have one but i have no way of paying you. :(

  • hmm... lemme think... err... where are you?

  • DUDE! i want one totally! im SO glad u actually did this :D

  • Heh heh. Oh good. I wasn't sure if it was stupid idea or not. :-)

  • Huzzah! I'm going to get one. No more topless robot making for me!

  • Ohh! Ya! They're bulletproof, and solder proof, weld proof... girls can't even smack you when you're wearing one!
