@VampiroSephiroth Não, principalmente nos albuns pós The Phantom Agony a Simone tem usado o vocal popular, mas mesmo assim o lírico ainda continua bem mais acentuado. É muito difícil alguém se dar bem nos dois tipos de voz, geralmente é boa num tipo e péssimo no outro. No caso da Tarja, canta muito bem no lírico mas é simplesmente horrível no popular.

Shows her lower register (the metzo end) to good effect. It's true she has increased the 'Soprano' end but she can still do this NOW equally well and reproduce that 'dark passion' that she's famed for. In other words with (growing) maturity has come more options but without any loss that I can detect. She is the 'bees knees' (or perhaps that should be 'hummingbird' ...)

I actually like her voice more back in 2005. She may be a bit better technically, but she's got more...originality in it someway here. May be that she uses her distinctive operatic "dark", very warm tone in her voice that automatically makes me think of her. You know what I mean...? :) That is what makes her voice stand out (don't here if too often nowadays though :/)

@thiagosats Acho que a Simone tem um tom de voz lindo e único, mas, ela não estuda tanto para manter a qualidade da voz no estúdio e ao vivo. A Floor Jansen faz isso extremamente bem, em estúdio e ao vivo. Não é perfeita, mas, é uma das melhores e, pra mim, melhor que a Simone em técnica vocal. Por essas e outras não acho a Simone a última pipoca do saquinho. Ela é linda e tem composições maravilhosas, mas, não tanto controle sobre a voz e técnica vocal.
