  • Beautiful!!!

  • Beuatiful---yes, charismatic---yes, vain (according to most co-stars, some family, & husbands)---yes, talented actress---VERY debatable. But---she did not deserve to die that horrible, needless death. I'm glad they're investigating it again.

  • such a cutie!

  • I never knew she was on this

  • Wow, she was gorgeous!

  • What a shame about her death. She should not have drowned that night.

  • @ronpaulforpresident6 "what are you trying to say here " that she should have the next night or something. try thinking before talking about something

  • Lecherous and lascivious whistles? Lol....that's not exactly a positive thing.

  • @intrepidme97 Everyone has different opinion, no need to be rude. :) Although I find Natalie really pretty, just look at this beautiful big bright eyes. She was lovely. :)

  • They should bring this show back today. We'd be stuck watching people like Snooki, Kim Kardashian, and people kicked off the Bachelor.

  • The case of her death has been reopened as of Nov 2011 due to new evidence being brought forward...

  • What´s so special about Natalie Wood ... She was cute at the most ! Being classy is one thing , but no way she was beautiful !

  • @intrepidme97 Who are you? You're nothing. She was a very beautiful, delicate woman with some of the most memorable performances ever captured on film, as well as starring in the saddest movie ever made.

  • @drmorb Sorry for having my own opinion , I guess being childish as you are that must have offended you ! And who am I ... You bet I´m way better than the drunk actresss you adore !

  • Such a beautiful soul..

I'll always suspect that she was murdered. We may never know.

  • What a bunch of idiots making comments. She died because she was drunk and hopping around on boats. I spent my life around boats and Avalon, Catalina. Avalon is very bouncy because its not a bay, not even a cove really, its all out in the open with a lot of boats trying to get up close to the shore. Combine that with the darkness and winds at night very easy to fall in if you're drunk. Much harder to actually push someone in because you wouldn't have the balance.

  • Is it true or not that Natalie Wood was in some way a troubled person?

  • What a beautiful smile, and that elf like face is drop dead gorgeous!

  • Natalie is the best,no woman will ever replace her.

  • Beautiful Natalie Wood ! Hope justice can be given to this lovely lady. RIP NATALIE YOU WERE WONDERFUL!

  • " Memory Eternal " Natasha.

  • Learn how to swim at the YWCA.

  • Ustinov is fabulous. Natasha's Russkiye accent is just so.

  • Horribly sad the way she died. Natalie was absolutely charming here.

  • Natalie...the eyes have it!!

  • robert wagner should be drawn and shot. fucken murderer of ms. wood.

  • @fran9860 She died because she was drunk and hopping around on boats.

  • It's pure speculation on what may or may not have happened with Natalie Wood's death in 1981. It just seems rather odd that the mystery was suddenly reopened, right around the time the former captain of the ship had published a book.

  • @mythid12 well, it was published 2 years ago... the timing has to do with it being the same week she died on the 30th anniversary... honestly, I think it's just a coincidence... dude wrote a book b/c he has been ignored constantly throughout the decade and thought the book would be a last ditched effort to get official attention... it worked

  • Natalie Wood was a living doll and a talented actress. So sad that 30 years later we have to hear that the case is being opened by what I think are some greedy people. You think . . Thank you EDH1712 for this great vintage footage.

I remember loving this show. The panel were so very clever.

  • @irismcooper I think you should know more about her. Then you would realize her "accident" was made up and that she got killed by Robert Wagner. And at the end of the day, that's why the case is reopened.

  • @AdrianWillis

Do you think that he killed her on purpose? It will always be a mystery just like with Marilyn Monroe the night she died and her association with Peter Lawford and the Kennedy's.

  • @altboy 1981 actually

  • I've always loved her. She is still my bf's dream girl, but that's ok with me.

  • She's my dream girl...God bless her

  • Her last name describes what she gave most men who saw her!

  • @dgl1962

    Very true,very true.

  • My Favorite Girl in The 50's 60's and 70's

I really Love her Eye's Truly an Unfading Beauty she has.

  • She was a Russian interpreter in METEOR with Sean Connery. Precursor to movies like ARMAGEDDON.

  • i love how she crinkles her nose up when she laughs. it is so endearing.

  • I read somewhere that she did not like her looks, she did not think she was pretty but that is so not true. Sorry that she died so young, we miss you Natalie.

  • "black" autocorrect kills me sometimes! Love you Natalie, RIP

  • Natalie is breathtaking AND is stunning in the famous designers dress, it's just hard to see in this grainy Blake & white video!

  • One of a few child stars that made it big. Elizabeth Taylor and Monty Cliff being two others, but Cliff was a stage star. I cannot think of anyone else at the moment.

  • Mr. Daly has a great job!

  • Bennett's sons were both Harvard grads. I think at this time, his youngest son was a student there, along with Arlene's son. That's why Arlene and Bennett were well aware of her appearance at Harvard.

  • Natalie had the Acting skills and a pretty face her sister Lana Had the Body.

  • OMG! Nat is a knockout here!

  • So classy yet charismatic and gorgeous, how many female celebrities can you say that about today?

  • @pein05 She's so darn likeable here. Unaffected and modest. So natural. I liked her very much.

  • "Are you from another country?"

    "Vell.... In my mind, yes."

Lol, for some reason that really cracks me up everytime!!! I LOVE Natalie :) Her death was such a tragedy. She probably would still be with us today...

  • BEAUTIFUL Lady. R.I.P. Natalie, gone too soon.

  • The most beautiful woman Ive ever seen, her death is such a tragedy

  • Footage given to me personally by Roddy McDowall... lots of clips! Copyrighted and monetized!

  • Accent is from her Russian heritage.

  • @GregWn ...and the exotic looks.....for a white girl.

  • what a sexy accent damn. DAMN.

I love ukrainian and russian girls

  • Love the girl but hate the dress. What was she thinking?

  • @SoCalGal52 She was probably thinking she was the height of fashion and for the time period, 1965-66, she would've been. But in retrospect, it really is a hideous design.

  • @SOLE2SOUL Yep, your probably right. I'm sure it was pretty groovy back then. But then again, have you ever seen an outfit like that on anybody else?

  • @SoCalGal52 Only on other women in that same time period.

  • @SoCalGal52 LOL @ people who criticize things like dresses. So material, ephemeral & undynamic.

  • @idster7 You're loling at what I said? So a person can't criticize what another person is wearing? Really? Then I guess fashion critics and fashion magazine editors shouldn't have those jobs? How nonhuman and unrealistic u r. You probably have a Coexist bumper sticker on your car, right Mr. or Ms. PC? If I want to criticize her dress, I will. If I want to question what and why someone is wearing something, I will. I'm sure ppl do the same thing to me. I'm sooo materialistic & undynamic.

  • One of the all-time great talents....My Nana and I both loved Natalie!

  • Princess Kate bears some resemblance to Natalie Wood, imo.

  • They should train the audience how not to give hints. :)

  • she COULD/NT SWIM

  • Happy Birthday Natalie Wood :)

  • That, laugh, sorry, THAT laugh.....like a thousand Christmas Days at once.

  • We talk of certain things being 'of the ages'. She is BEYOND the ages, utterly spellbinding and hopelessly captivating to idiots like me. I just feel I was born at a the wrong time, because even knowing there was a film star as cool and as beautiful as her would be enough. She talked about the presence of Marilyn Monroe, that as a viewer you wanted her to be 'ok' in the end. That's how I feel about Natalie, I hate the conspiracies with her death and just wish she was all right, somehow.

  • She's probably with James Dean now. What a wonderful, talented, beautiful actor who is missed by all.

  • Natalie, or Natasha as she reportedly preferred, is the most beautiful, captivating woman I have ever seen. She was a gifted actress who survived a cloying, stage-manager mother and grew up in the Hollywood star system, and then branched out later in her career to play some very memorable roles and expand her range as an actress. She is elegant, graceful, likeable, and gorgeous. There will never be another actress quite like her. I wish I could've known her personally, I'll bet she was fabulous.

  • I STILL miss seeing NATALIE in the MOVES.. RIP

  • Oh, darn, after all these years .... after all these years! ...still hopelessly in love with Natalie Wood.My big sister should never have taken me to see Rebel Without a Cause.

  • Should have learned to swim. One of the major babes of the time.

  • @JeffersonDinedAlone I heard she did know how to swim. But she was very small (5'), had been drinking, it was winter and there was heavy rain and wind, plus the ocean was freezing.

  • Forgot to mention in discussing Natalie's Russian birth name of Natasha, that her sister Lana also had a very Russian birth name. Just like a very pretty Russian woman I recently met who introduced herself to me as Lana, Natalie's younger sister was born Svetlana. When I said to this woman who called herself Lana, that perhaps I should call her Svet, she replied, ah you know, and told me that was what her father used to call her.

  • @CarlDuke Brilliant minds think alike ! :-)

  • Her Russian accent is so cute and spot on ! Natasha Gurdin !

  • @tismurdis You stole the comment I was going to make. Indeed she was born Natasha Gurdin, the daughter of Russian immigrants. I had also heard that she was related to Jacob Gurdin the Russian Jewish playwright, though I'm not sure on that. Interesting that panelist Peter Ustinov, an Englishman, is also of Russian heritage, as am I. I always thought she was a funny looking kid on screen, but she sure turned out great, the opposite of most child actors in Hollywood.

  • I love her voice. :)

  • Strikingly beautiful woman!

  • @gyrene1966

Case of Natalie's untimely death due to "unfortunate accident “being re-opened 30 yrs. later hm, hopefully, long-awaited justice will erupt from the smoldering fire finally setting her free...

  • @fnj6 ... Many people are lazy in school, and may not come out much smarter than they were when they entered a certain level of schooling. It's those who strive to learn and teach and grow from what they know--regardless of economic background--who make an education something to be valued.

  • @fnj6 I beg to differ. Education is most certainly a virtue. Maybe not all libraries can afford books, but everyone must still go through schooling. What makes it a virtue is whether or not you use the basics you're taught in life, and use it to inspire yourself to continue teaching yourself and learning about the world around you. ...

  • That dress!!! Amazing.

  • RIP Natalie Wood

  • She was born in San Francisco but comes by that Russian accent honestly since both of her parents were immigrant Russians!

  • It is so nice to see beautiful people who are down to earth! Everyone was so kind and respectful to one another on this show. They also were educated and well-spoken.

  • beautiful woman

  • She's so classy and beautiful!

  • I always loved her hair like this. Aw heck, I just love Natalie.

  • She was a beautiful classy woman! I have 2 necklaces she owned and her autograph, I collect memorabilia. I am 26 but have loved Natalie since I was 16 I had her pics on my wall along with other stars of the golden hollywood era. It's a shame there's no one like her for young people to look up to nowadays.

  • this is so fake! hollywoods way to advertise their products!

  • @nomorecoolones Cheesus!!! People like you make me sick!!! What is fake about this??? You must be some sicko grinning about pissing off a rational minded older person with your insane comments. Ghod!!!

  • @49kasey

ok go on now laughing and giggling while others are making millions. you are PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • OMG this is sooo funny! I love it! <3

  • era di una bellezza inaudita

  • Gosh, she is so hot. Who would've thought that little girl from Miracle On 34 Street would've grown up to look like this! :)

  • Everytime I see Natalie Wood I think of her as Deanie in Splendor In The Grass.

  • Natalie's eyes are so ....wow...What a woman :)

  • NATALIE WOOD WOULD BE ALIVE TODAY IF NOT FOR...

  • Natalie had 2 children by 2 men: Natasha Gregson (now 40, her father is Richard Gregson) and Courtney Wagner (now 36, her father is Robert Wagner). Neither of her daughters have children.

  • she is of Russian ancestry?

  • @werobanks

    Yup. Born Natasha Nikolaevna Zacharenko.

  • Natalie was stunning!

  • So who was the one person who didn't like it? Is there a group of people who go from video to video marking each one "dislike"?

  • "..have you got your visa!!" thats funny as hell

  • WOW natalie wood was such a knockout. Very beautiful and funny and she had a flirtatious look in her eyes which was sexy. RIP

  • Why, oh WHY don't they bring this show back?... I would LOVE it, and I bet millions of others would, too!... Can you imagine the panel that might be picked?... I'm thinking... Oh, I don't know.... Celebrities mixed with TV talking heads?...like maybe, um...Oh, I don't know........ How about... Jerry Springer, Joy Behar, Regis Philbin, and... um... um...... oh, I, uh.......................... OH!... Paris Hilton!

    Talk about a ratings BONANZA!!!

  • @ClarasBeau The original panelists were all very smart, not just celebrities who are famous for nothing. I could see Joy Behar, Anderson Cooper, Alec Baldwin, Martha Stewart, Sarah Silverman, etc

  • I saw her in person in October 1981 as she was filming "Brainstorm", her last movie on the campus of Duke University.

    Yes, she was beautiful.

  • @EastofForever

Errie....the same year she fell voerboard and drowned..

  • I'm named after her. (:

  • Did you catch Ustinov having a peek as Natalie walked off? :-P

  • She is just gorgeous, I love her, -3

  • So cute♥

  • She took the chalk with her.

  • Loved her in The Searchers with John Wayne

  • Linda, encantadora. Já não se fazem mais estrelas como antigamente...

  • She's to die for....

  • I can recognise Natalies voice immediatly. She sounds alot like she does in West Side Story.

  • I adoreeeee Natalie! I did an English project about her. I'm so lucky to have the same eyes, big and dark brown :D

  • 1:57

  • WOW WHat a dress. She was sooooooo gorgeous!

  • A remarkable actress and one of the so many with a sad life start to end. Her death was particularly poignant as he had a lifelong fear of drowning. Many people feel she had yet to reach the height of her career and as an older character actress would make her biggest mark and inevitably win an Oscar. She was miscast terribly in "West Side Story" and yet turned in a beautiful and distinctive portrayal of Maria, getting an Oscar nomination and much respect.

  • Who on Earth would dislike this?! Oh well, it was only one dislike.

  • She is so pretty.

  • She was such a beauty!

  • I miss Natalie so much. Wish she could be alive and in lots of movies today

  • That dress is FAB !

  • this must be around 1966

  • That dress is horrible!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @cutis1000 Yup. Pretty bad.

  • I adore her accent! :) I'm going to try and "fake" it now lol.

  • Comment removed

  • if someone would ask me what my kind of dreamgirl is, I would definitly say: Natalie Wood ! she was a great actress and that cute gorgeous face.

  • Natalie Wood was such an elegant & classy lady.

  • She is the pretties thing ever. Especially in West Side Story. Words just don't cover it.

  • she looks like natalie portman

  • Wonderful woman, raised her children well too.

  • haha oh Natalie what a little cheater using a Russian accent but you couldn't fool them

  • @weightfeather1 That's what I plan on doing! I've been cultivating my skills as an artist since I will a little girl. I'm going to be the next great director.

  • Are you going back somewhere soon?

  • She really does have beautiful eyes!

  • She WAS a drop dead paralyzingly captivating heart-breaker. Does that about cover it?

  • @NYVoice

Almost. It ultimately turned out that she could act a little, too.

  • @NYVoice you are so right !!

  • you are so right !!

  • @NYVoice It does. And what's more she was such a great actress!

  • @NYVoice That's an understatement. There are no superlatives that can rise to a proper description of this perfect beauty.

  • 27 y.o. when this aired

  • Katie Holmes???????? Not at all, Natalie was WAY better! A true angel. Thank you so much for posting this!

  • peter ustinov is so funny....

  • Natalie was born in Frisco, but was the daughter of Russian immigrant parents and known as Natasha Gurdin early on. Ustinov was British, but also of Russian heritage. Natalie was a funny looking kid who seemed to get better looking as she aged, the opposite of most child actors.

  • She was a precious gift that we lost way too soon.

  • Its hard to imagine this was the little girl from "Miracle on 34th Street"!

  • I bet you Natalie was a freak!

  • she looks like katie holmes!

  • @cadillacs1981 She really does!
