  • @rydubz7..... Are you fucking insane ? Muse are better than all the other modern bands put together. If they are so bad how come that have won like a thousand awards and are loved by millions!

  • please explain how muse is phoney

  • I heard alot about Muse because of this pedal . I dont usually complain on youtube but Muse sounds like fukin Creed .Phony moppie commercial garbage Made only to sell to depressed teenagers . A real artist who made this pedal famous is nels cline who can actually play . Wilco isnt that great either but Nels kicks butt and a half .Check him out .I posted a comment about how much Muse is phony(i cant believe some people don't find this obvious) and got emails from teens saying "you suck" . lol

  • @rydubz7 Muse are one of the last bands with pure talent keeping Rock (in one form or another) alive.

For teens through to 70 year-olds.

  • @rydubz7 Have you actually listened to them?

  • Muse - Plug in Baby. Best song to use a fuzz factory.

  • @HelmetDruler69 amen bro , amen !

  • getting 1 of these soon cant wait :DDD

  • put your quality on 240p for sound

  • @AlexEurasia69 THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!

  • Its almost as good as Pootie Tang's song.

  • AHH FUCKING SHIT O.O

i turned my (1000 watts) surround system up to nearly max cause there was no sound, i nearly died at the moment the noise came o.o

  • where te fuck is the sound dude

  • 240p for sound.

  • @TheAcousticFrenzy thanks bro

  • @TheAcousticFrenzy thanks mate

  • Haha, so crazy and lovely pedal.

  • no sound??

  • @juliankceres All i get is Static... :(

  • Those are cool effects, you should check out this true bypass looper too, watch on You Tube ID "xj7P-ajPeZM"

  • NO SOUND !

  • Without words!

  • no sound?

  • I think I jizzed myself at 1:33.

  • no sound

  • the tone and lick at 0.43 sounds amazing

  • So that's how the pumpkins do it

  • Nice, cool video, really. But I think it would even be nicer with the sound !

I'm joking, if you want the sound just put the quality in 240p

  • so changing it to 240p thats why doesnt work on my selphone

  • This is a beautiful pedal. A work of beauty for sure. I wish it wasn't so expensive or I'd get one.

  • Christ's sake youtube compression

  • @corona2072 aaaahhh thank you!!!

  • sound meesed up

  • And yeah what happened to the audio in this video? It was perfectly fine a few days ago

  • @FretsonFireMuse change it to 240p,works fine then

  • fuck you there is no audio in this vid yust fucking noise

  • Hey I've been using this for a while now and I've noticed for me chords are sounding pretty bad with the fuzz factory. Am I using bad settings or something?

  • @FretsonFireMuse Well, Fuzz is meant to give this "Trashed" sound, so maybe Fuzz isn't just thatgreat for chords, if you want them clean :P

Or maybe if you turned the drive almost all the way down, you could get some warm distortion just :)

I myself, do not own a Fuzz Factory, so i don't really know if what i'm saying is true :P But it's just some ideas :P

  • @trolden9520 Any idea is cool. Thanks

  • it's like r2d2 is in the background!

  • Tv-voice

  • The setting at the end makes it sound like the guitar's screaming. But I love it xD

  • Just bought one today. I love it!

  • if you want to see the best demo of this pedal just click the muse fuzz factory mandess on the left :)

  • "Now I'm going to reach back and give Eric a hand job while he's playing."

  • i shall have this pedal one day... and i shall rock the world with it haha :-) looks fucking sweet// overpriced in my opinion though

  • i feel i he sounds kinda like the voice from The Wonder Years haha

great pedal though, i must say..

  • I wish all the Z-Vex stuff was in available in Vexter guise because frankly the artwork doesn't interest me like the sounds do....and the paint seems a shade expensive.Lol

  • mr vex reminds me of willy wonka

  • 2:47

    R2D2 much?

  • You can clone any pedal you want...what you're paying for when you buy from a guy like Mr. Vex is the countless hours of R&D, the innovation and keeping the little guy going. I'd like to see spend 20 quid and make something like this from your own imagination. Good luck with that...

  • Wow I was nearly impressed !!!!

  • "good luck trying to figure this thing out" lol

  • seriously, this thing is way fantastic in the flesh. try one as soon as you can, and stand back...

  • is it good with a fender hot rod deluxe?

  • My friend has this thing and its 10 X better than this vid demonstrates

  • Comment removed

  • This pedal is used by Scott Henderson, cool.

  • Towards the end of the video. This thing has a Satch squeal simulation setting, too? :O AWESOME!

Thinking of getting this as my main distortion/drive, and my first boutique FX pedal too. I'm running a tight budget, so how would this work with a decent, affordable solid state amp?

  • @sipasabayag

    awsome but it's £200

  • i'd recommend skimpy on pedals and getting a decent tube amp to start with... check out the VOX AC4 10" combo... it's only a bit more than this pedal costs and it'll be more than loud enough for most of your needs. then you can learn about tube distortion too, haha.

  • @sipasabayag: Probably pretty good, but you should just get the Vexter series one. Same pedal, just not as flashy. But I gotta agree with aschleman, a good amp is a neccessity!

  • you can build one for £20

  • you can?

  • please continue...

  • @torbjorn66 what parts do you need?

  • it does WACKY STUFF!

  • @popomczowzow lol i wanted to post that too :D

  • Am I saying dumb things or...you really can't plug a 9V adaptor?

  • there are actually two zvex fuzz factory pedals.

this handdrawn one does not have power supply.

but the zvex fuzz factory vexter series has 9V dc input

  • I like it! Sounds like QOTSA

  • this sounds so cool

    need one!

  • omg ..

its sound so fucking good O:

    how much it cost ?

  • @StragonRage round 200ish.

  • Can you get the sound for the solo of Heart Shaped Box by Nirvana with this pedal?

  • @1ndguitar Buy Boss DS-2

  • nah...boss isn't really my thing. The big muff sounds like it might work for it too. but thanks!

  • MAYBE IF HE WAS GAY...

  • It's Big Muff Pi or DS - 2 Believe me...

  • @johnfrusciantezzz actually I believe it's more or less an lpb-1 pushing a fuzz face with a few extra knobs. sounds so good though!

  • does anybody knows how can in put this in my guitar like matt bellamy? how much expensive is?

  • @Brandon18valensi You cant unless u make a guitar from scratch, sorry.i just velcrod 1 to the end on my guitar, works aswell.

  • You dont put it in your guitar you connect it from your guitar to your amp. Im not sure how much it is but you can check and buy it online ;)

  • @dark999storm: Yea you can, just look at Matt Bellamy... Lol... Good luck paying for it though.

  • I have mine in my gutiar it actually didn't cost too much.

  • Seriously? Message me details please? I never thought of trying it assumin' the price wold be too much... ^^"

  • If you cant figure out how to do it. You won't be able to do it.

  • what the fuck? I swear that at 0:33 someone sais Glenn then another person sais Beck...

  • @blackplastic7

I think he says "Play" and then he replies "OK"

  • velcro fuzz.... now thats a name that fits

  • DANG!!!!

I might even choose this over the voodoo lab superfuzz and the foxrox hot silicon fuzz...

    Any Thoughts??

  • i bought vexter model

    sound exactly this..

  • Dude youcan buy the same one for 180 at guitar center the only differece is the paint job

  • omg what a sustain!

  • he plays guitar with his feet LOL

  • @pacolazo123 LOOOOOL

  • @pacolazo123 no! he just have 4 arms.

  • What the name of the riff at 1:35 ??

  • sounds like brian off of family guy...

  • He's working on that new novel.... gonna... have a plot... maybe... a few characters....

  • some friends become enemies some enemies become friends? LOL

  • i want it...

  • ya veo porque matt bellamy introdujo esa cosa en sus guitarras...qe flojera andar agachandote XD

  • The majority of sounds they are demoing are sounds comparable to #1 broken speaker distortion, #2 dead tubes distortion, #3 playing through a tape deck distortion, and #4 low-fi digital yamaha keyboard distortion. Not worth 300 bucks. I have gotten better fuzz tones from literally ripping the head out of a tape player, wiring a 1/4" jack to the terminals, and plugging in a guitar. You press "play", and your guitar overdrives the amp in the tape player, because it is a low impedance input. Try it

  • muse lol

  • I need a pedal that will do somthing like 1:37 ant suggestions about what to look for?

  • This thing costs 300 dollars. Think about that. These weirdo non-musical effects are to be used sparingly, to add some trippy filling to a place in a song where not much else is going on, but it could never be used as anyone's main source of distortion. It's the type of effect that one uses less than a tremolo or flanger......so, is it worth spending the 300 bucks that could get you a really killer overdrive? Is it even worth having, and if so, for any purpose but a toy? In my opinion, it is not

  • Listen to some St. Vincent tracks. As far as I can tell, this thing IS that chick's "main source of distortion".

  • on the contrary, this is one of john frusciante's main fuzz pedals which he used for many of his solos on the by the way tour, look up scar tissue, the regular fuzz tone is great!

$300 for a handmade fuzz which has a wide range of normal tones available (including the shown fuzz face simulation), can handle a convincing octavia and also allows for experimentation with trippy sounds (which some people enjoy, others dont). expensive yes, but i find it narrow-minded to simply brand this as a 'toy'

  • Everything is a matter of opinion, so some will like it, others won't. Well, there are people out there who have the opinion that the best distortion is achieved by dumping sand between you speaker and baffle board, and this pedal is a 300 dollar bag of sand. Switching the knobs around merely adjusts the size of the speaker, and the amount of sand. 300 bucks is too much for ANY dirt pedal, unless it is an OD with an all-tube audio path with a 3-band eq between stages.

  • Transistors are cheap, and their surrounding circuitry is easy to build. I once built a rangemaster for a guy who wanted a boost, and I used only parts that I pulled out of my hammond AO-44 when I was converting it to a guitar amp. Pulling the terminal strip on the front of the amp took all the solid state out of that amp, opened up the tone (by removing "frequency shaping" caps/resistors), and the garbage I had left was made in to a "boutique" OD in about 15 minutes. I charged him $50 for it.

  • What do you think of the Freekish Blues Coily Fuzz? I want to try, but would like some opinions first... I guess Dweezil Zappa use the Bety Bdbst? Opinions?

  • its not a toy, but paying that sort of price is extortion.

Still, pedal builders in england can make one for under 20 quid using Bitsbox parts, a vero layout and some AC128's from ebay

  • haha these pedals arent even that pricey. theyre midrange price at best in the realm of high end pedals. you guys are nuts

  • considering how much "effort" it takes to make one of these pedals (including engineering the PCB and testing), the price is way higher than it should be. People pay less for vintage pedals.

  • Is this brand considered a Botique?

  • Hell yeah ... and if not the price sure is LOL

  • matt bellamy have this on his manson guitar right?he use this for new born riff?

  • if youre a fan of rad shit, then you must own one of these.

  • J. Mascis uses this. but yet, what fuzz pedals dosen't J. use!?

  • Love the pedal...great sound!

  • JAJA, im going to built one just for pissing the rest of the band in the rehearsals XD

  • this things fuckin sweet does all kindsa noise n shit coolness

  • This pedal owns, Greg Camp (Smash Mouth's original writer, guitarist, and backbone) used this pedal to play the 1997 hit "Walkin' on the Sun."

Gave it that cool talkboxy-extreme distortion, amazing what that pedal did for the Third-Wave Ska Movement...

  • I bought a vexter series and in a certain setting I get some south American radio show playing through my amp xD Weird.

  • hayatımda gördüğüm en dingil pedal bu ne lan!

  • whats the difference between this pedal and the vexter series version? do they just look different?

  • Comment removed

  • they are EXACTLY the same, the vexter series is cheaper because it isn't hand-painted

  • yeah.they have silk screened graphics instead of being hand painted thats the only difference

  • thanks

  • are you sure? ive heard the vexter is assembled in somewhere in asia, whereas the other is from the US

  • How can i get smashing pumpkins sound?

  • I use a Electro Harmonix Big Muff Pi to get that insane, buzzsaw distortion. It works great

  • I was using my buddy's Big Muff Pi and his Fuzz Factory back to back last week. The muff is alright for the classic, standard fuzz sounds, but I found that the Fuzz Factory could do anything the muff could do plus tons of crazy things it couldn't.

  • Comment removed

  • how much does one of these cost about and were can u buy one from ( in england)

  • i just went to my local guitar center and its around 175 US

  • yeah, but i'm lookin for a fuzz PROBE. like a fuzz factory but with a theramin, 350 in stores & guitar center don't even got it =/

  • my new fuzz factory just arrived, and i cant't wait to play it through my marshall and discover the sounds of this hell machine.

  • 1:34 sounds like a Reese Synth!

  • By far the best fuzz pedal on the marked

  • I am saving up to get one of these.

  • I have a fuzz probe for sale ! Same thing but with more control!!

  • How much?

  • $250 and its like new!

    Only used in the studio.

  • sweet, cause i want a fuzz probe, but they're so darn expensive, 250 isn't bad though...compared to the original price

  • thats fuckin expensive bro

  • Then its the Fuzz Factory Vexter Series! Not a Fuzz Probe!

  • wat?

  • awesome demo. now i have to buy it. thanks.

  • on the mansons website, there is a squire guitar modded to buy with a built in fuzz factory and manson pick-ups. does anyone know what the 2 knobs will be controlling?? will it be like gain or stab or summin? and also is there a way to turn the fuzz factory off and just play the guitar clean??

  • It's stab and comp and yes there is a switch to turn it off.

  • how much do these cost?

  • 179 USD

  • Really? Online it says like 300 USD.

  • Yeah the 180 one is the vexter series fuzz factory and the one for 300 is this green handpainted one you see in the video.

  • what's the difference between the effect of the green and sliver painted one?

  • Their the same. They do everything exectly the same and if you where to run them together in a chain you could ever-so-slightly hear the vexter is a tiny bit brighter. Its not notice-able though when your just playing. They make it with all the same parts. The only differences are the green one is handpainted, it comes with a lifetime warrenty, and their made in the US. The vexters are made in korea or something and assembled here.

  • oh. thanks alot! :D

  • yeah your welcome. You should get one for yourself and thank me later :)

  • This pedal is so crazy, it can do so many things :o

  • Matt bellamy! :P

  • this is awesome (:

  • does it increase the pitch ??????

  • No it's just a fuzz pedal.

  • They hand paint and hand wire them all don't they? My friends got one and the paint job is different. It's an awesome pedal though.

  • so this is the germanium one right?

  • theres the vexter series which is silver, and this one which is 30 dollars more but hand painted. they are both germanium, and sound the same.

i just ordered one...im so excited!!
