  • Bill Graber is currently in Singapore with his son, daughter, and wife. They're very good friends of mine and they won't get back for another 2 1/2 years.

  • I totally agree with Trainer's statement. This band is very remarkable for never having recorded a band song.

Scott is also right in pointing out that their first album, This (1990), has a couple of clunkers on it. However, that album doesn't count since they were still called Tilt-a-Whirl when they recorded that album :-)

Arcwelder is an amazing band and criminally underrated!

  • Arcwelder....God bless em!

  • I saw Arcwelder three times and had the pleasure to meet the guys. I really like this band. They have a great blend of noise and harmony. They should have been a huge band because they were the better than anything else at the time. I wish they had more material but I guess that would make me selfish! Arcwelder never did record a bad song that I know of and I think I got almost everything.

  • saw them when they played Shellac's ATP in 2002. amazing...absolutely no idea why they're not HUUUGE!!!

  • Nice!

  • Funny. I bob my head and want to jump to a YouTube video.

  • Went to the show last night at Turf Club...great show, as always, and probably even more fun than in the old days.

  • In my opinion Arcwelder will always be the most underrated band ever. They've never released a song that wasn't great.

  • Amen!

  • i'm friends with rob's son. i remember him telling me something about his uncle being in a band when i looked trough his ipod, now that i listen to them, they're really good!

  • This band is amazing!!! The joy on their faces while they play is something you don't see in a world where every player has to have a pained look on stage...

  • I am really kicking myself for missing this now.

  • Arwelder at 7th St Entry are some of my favorite shows ever.

  • I heard this band back in the day and loved them, although I reckoned they were Huskers rip off merchants. Listening to them 12+ years later they sound more like Mission of Burma...and they're great!

  • Anyone have a version of this set without the voice-over?

  • There aren't enough videos of this band on youtube.

  • it's true: they seldom have bad songs, like one, you'll like them all. this live sound on this video is not great, but their energy is best on cd or loud at live venues, they're a very rythmic group as well, amazing power trio

  • Thanks a lot for the posting! Arcwelder was a true testament to the validity of the punk approach -- these songs have NOT gotten old.

  • So great to see, thanks for posting. I got to see them around '94 at the old 9:30 in DC and again in '97 at the old Lounge Axe in Chicago. The Grabers are not only talented, but great to talk to. I agree, Pull has lost nothing for me in the last 15 years. I think I'll put it on now!

  • wow

    this is a great sound.

just checked out pinback wich is more relaxed but this has a nice drive.

  • Scott obviously has the most talent...

  • I only had a chance to see these guys once back in 91 at 1st ave, but I sure wish they would play more... one of my all time favorites, have all their albums.

  • Arcwelder are incredible.. hope they record another album soon! -Listened to "Pull" non-stop lately :)

  • thank god bands like this still play...

  • been my fav band for many, many years... record a new album please thanks...

  • First: What Did You Call It That For? (from Pull)

    Second: Cranberry Sauce (Pull)

  • What are the song titles in these?

  • dig deep bro - these guys were worth the dive... thanks to share folks
