Hello all...I just want to share my parents side of the story. They were Turks in Cyprus before and after the conflict. Although this video is true in that the Turks were rebelling, it was only as a result of many innocent Turks being killed by Greeks. My mother used to get fingered and molested on her way to school by Greek patrols, and my father was shot at by Greeks in the back of a car when he got out of school. Both sides have done wrong, please don't place it all on the Turks.

I have to say as a brit I am not proud of the UK's choice of sides early on in the conflict. However the British are much more sympathetic to the Greeks than to the turks now.
