well they got to .500, went over it. back down, then back under. and well be nice to get back on track tonight! let it not be a case of the same ol buccos. I know they are better then this, pitching has improved, except for the meltdown the other night. they are making some big hits,but not enough they got to start getting more base hits, and cracking balls, I believe they can do it.though most doubt me and laugh. I feel they have playoff talent now. and that they can be better! Let's Go Bucs!

You Probably came in last place your whole life. There are Kids out there that HAVE NEVER seen a Pirates winning season I was 6 the last time they had a winning season. So there is something wrong with making a tribute to a team that sucks as bad as they have for 15 years.

Don't get me wrong man I love the team of the Pirates. I just cannot stand the ownership group which only spends money on Mediocre players. You will see a a lot more losing seasons. No lie.

This year they have shown some signs of improvement, which has really surprised me....Their attitude has been better with Russell as manager....It looks like another losing season this year, but at least they are fighting teams for 9 innings

you're absolutely right about that, small market teams arent going to just explode one year. its a process for teams like the pirates, it wont be long until their prospects are moved up and they'll be fighting for a division title

I wouldnt say the Pirates suck, they are starting to get better. They have a good rotation if healthy, a good lineup if healthy, and if Ken Macha comes, they are back in the playoffs by 2009, if healthy
