  • Blessed be very informative xx

  • @LouRoff1 Thank you very much x

  • This is beautiful work

  • @Steeleperfect Thank you so much for coming to watch it :)

  • Thank you I happen to have gotten pregnant on Ostara and am due around yule (dec 19th) So this representation really hit home. I do feel like the epitome of the Goddess right now. Blessed be

  • @ninabc13 Good luck with your pregnancy :) I am glad you like the video x

  • I remember that I was uncovering possibilities of adopting wicca into my life at my first viewing of this wonderful dedication but now realize that wicca isn't in me but the natural universe always has been and that what drew me hear is my innate respect for all things around me...still a seminal video Lisa!

  • @larosity I agree with you. I am totally not Wiccan myself. Never have been. But I do follow the old ways, Wicca is more of a new religion. I think spirituality and religion are totally different. I think perhaps you need to find your spiritual self sometimes and the rest just follows. Sounds like you have done. x

  • Oh yes Lisa...I have come to realize that religion and spirituality are rarely connected, at least in the church goers I see around me. When I go into the wild areas near my home I feel totally connected to the world around me and free to express myself, even vocally when I want. The time, 2 years ago, when I first viewed your video I was reaching for something; thought wicca might be it but what I wanted was in me all of the time, I just had to recognize it! Your uploads helped me see it!

  • @larosity Thats a real honour that you say that :) I always tell people that there are many levels of Paganism, and Wicca is just a tiny little portion, but its often in the limelight nowdays, many of my Pagan friends feel completely the same as yourself, but don't consider themselves to be Wiccan or a Witch or anything.

  • @WitchesSky I totally understand your friends' feelings. My longtime use of medicinal herbs and homeopathy led me to think wicca was my calling but when i got into it, it looked, to me, like any other religion and I am just not into believing in any kind of magic but always believed in the miracle of the natural universe...your vids showed me the way...thank you!

  • A wonderful tribute to a beautiful festival. Thank you.

  • @Mhairecobhthaigh Thank you for watching x

  • Blessed Lammas! Breaking virtual bread with you

  • @gentlefire100 Thank you Amy x

  • Blessings & Happy Lammas

And yes people will read it ;)

  • @jackp6 Thank you Jack :)

  • How time flies. Sigh.

    Always loved this video Lisa

  • @bigeeezy Thank you James :)

  • I love these videos Lisa, and so glad you share them and your wise words and beautiful photos to help celebrate the Sabbats. xx

  • @LilyAZ Thank you Lily, did you read the dedication at the end :)

  • @WitchesSky Yes :) And it was very very kind of you to put that there. Dedicating your artwork to me is an honor........one day hopefully you'll realize how deeply you have touched other's lives with your words and your presentations of them. You shine and you always will. Thank you xo

  • @LilyAZ Lily thats a beautiful compliment, thank you xx

  • Thank you my.......... teacher.

  • @beachfrontal Lol, did you bring me an apple?

  • Hard to believe it is that time again. As for form and format...&fmt=18 gives you stereo sound if it was recorded that way.yt:stretch=16.9 for a big format. yt:quality=High for high resolution. you can put them in the "tags" section...xo

  • @tps607 Thank you Tom... ok... can you say that again bearing in mind that I am blonde??

Some of my videos are fine on the 480 option, but this one didnt have it?? I have no idea why?

  • @WitchesSky I don't know why either...youtube is always trying to save server space and compressing the life out of our files. If it is not as you like it and adding those things one at a time and looking at it don't help, you may have to reload it. I notice that some of my older vids don't play well if they don't get much play...

  • @tps607 Ok I have it sussed! Someone else messaged me too, so I have to go through all my video's and add that quality thing into the tag line.... yt better not bloody change it again! lol

  • @WitchesSky Youtube is most certainly going to do it again...it's what they do! xoxoxo

  • I like the song. :):) Who by?

  • @chaoticpix93 Lisa Thiel

    Tony x

  • In the East of the Netherlands we called these harvest-celebrations ''Stoppelheane''(Stubbs on the field) and the Boers in SA had simular customs. It's obvious these customs belong to a shared European heritage, dating back to very old times. Though not into paganism I found this rather interesting.

  • My Mother hung one of these above my bedstead when I was a child but I had no idea what it had to do with until I saw this. Thank you for making this video =)

  • Absolutely soul touching and haunting ... I love this one!!

  • Thank you so much for watching Diamond :)

  • This is a wonderful video, all of your videos are cool. We have definitely lost touch with where food comes from. I was picking wild raspberries a few weeks ago with my son, and a guy walked by with a look of horror on his face that I would feed a child something wild. If I had put it in a plastic container first he wouldn't have thought twice LOL

    Dave:)

  • Thank you so much Dave for watching, that is so true... and the cultures that still live this way are dying out so fast..not long now until you get to see England!!! :)

  • Lisa:

Thank you for this peaceful, gentle video. You choice of music and history of Lugnasa is a great expression of Autumn approaching. You do very inspiring work!

  • Thank you so much for watching... I wish I could do a vegetable garden! They taste so different! Thank you :)

  • You have the BEST videos. They are sooo inspiring. thank you so much for showing. Mari Ana.

  • Thank you so much Mari Ana! These are only special because you all come and watch them :)

  • PS Lily is right, firstly to encourage you to write, and secondly - people will read what you write. All the best to you.

  • Thank you :) Very often I am a bit simple with my ponderings...lol.. what I mean is, I write a bit bluntly about things, black and white, Lily has convinced me that people do want to read that. Earlier this year I had an article published in the wieser guide to herbal magic, I was really shocked when they asked me if they could have it! They actually found me! Other than that I have no claim to fame! haha thank you

  • Thank you WitchesSky for marking the year for us with your very beautiful and informative videos. You work is much appreciated.

  • Thank you so much for taking the time to watch it :)

  • another great video from you

    this is really great

    TC

  • very well done

  • Thank you for watching :)

  • Dear Lisa,

Your beautiful video not only relaxes the heart and soothes the soul but teaches in a wonderful easy to understand way, the meaning and traditions of this special Sabbat and time of year. You bring back to our thoughts, through your writing, the gratefulness and respect we need to show our Great Mother, the Earth. Your dedication at the end, gave me tears....I'm so proud of you and all your beautiful creations you share. Friends forever in Art and spirit,

    Thank you,

    Lily xo

  • Lily thank you for all the encouragement and convincing me that people will read my words and watch my video's... you are used to this being so published and talented, this is all so new to me! Thank you :)

  • i thank Goddess for you. just came in and how nice to find such beauty waiting for me. i appreciate you so much. thank you my blessed sister. you are very special!

  • Thank you so much for coming to watch it :) Lovely compliments, Blessed Lughnasadh to you :)

  • VERY NICE 5 STARS

  • Thank you so much for taking the time out to come and watch it :)

  • very well made video lisa, really liked the music, love and respect scotty and libby:0)

  • Thank you for letting me share this :)

  • That was utterly excellent: Great presentation, well-made, informative, lovely music, good meaningful text. It's simply amazing some of the wonderful works you produce. Blessed Lughnasadh Lisa, and may the beauty of light and life continue to shine from you out into this world, imbued and energised by the Goddess herself. You are a beacon of light in a dark stormy environment; a thing of beauty in a barren landscape full of aimless souls: May your light continue to shine always. Blessed Be.

  • Thank you so much, I hope you got to view it in hight quality? Youtube didnt offer the option this time, so I added the link to the side :) Thanks for your compliments, and Blessed Lughnasadh to you also :)

  • lisa this is absolutely gorgeous. well done. the music is haunting and the words well written. loved it! blessed be!

  • Thank you kathy!!! Dont forget your naked Tor dash at Glastonbury this year! lol

  • Very nice :) Thank you!

  • Thank you :)

  • You know Lisa, I am relativity knew to the wiccan ways but i am learning so much from our vids about the sabbats and rites and such...the more i see the more I like; just "feels" right to me. I have long admired my Celtic pagan ancestry and find the attraction very strong. i was raised catholic but never "felt" the catholic ways like i do the wiccan...thank you for this and all your great, informative vids!Blessed Be!*****

  • That is the biggest compliment to me, thank you... I see alot of fanatical info floating around on Paganism, and it often makes me cringe! lol... I am not actually Wiccan although I do respect it :) Thank you so much for letting me share this with you :)
