This is such a well done player perspective trailer of the game. I'll admit, Rift pulled me right in and away from WoW very quickly. At this point, there is just too much to love about it. The lore is great, the role customization is endless, the PvP is exciting at all doable levels (10 and up), the environment is spectacular, graphics are intense, music is beautifully done. I'm happy with Rift :]

The fact of the matter is, WoW is never going to be beaten. Its an entry level MMO to be brutally honest. It does not require a large amount of skill to play and its marketed widely around the globe. It will always continue to grow and be the strongest MMO. BUT from WoW people can then branch out to other MMO's such aSI think I will be doing, I've played WoW for around 3 years now and I would liek to try something new.

I just purchased the RIFT game last night..I played up to lvl 9....THE GAMES BLOWS BIG TIME..total let down...In short its a warhammer/wow/aion with better graphics...they failed to created a unique battle system its almost a clone of AION & WOW..im pissed just spent 53 bucks at the gamestop cuz the said its awesome the best MMO ive played so far is AOC awesome battle system stunning graphics. RIFT fails at this game boring grind fest,,,,it sucks! Save your money for Guild Was 2!!

This game sucks, Valve was trying to imitate World of Warcraft, but they failed. They added nudity so the perverts around the globe would play it. I really just bet that this wont even get better as Oblivion would, if they released online. To make a long story short. This game Rocks!!! I have played warcraft since it came out and no other game was even close to wow. Now warcraft can finally rest in peace, new era of mmo's is up. Amazing story, awesome quest, and INCREDIBLE public events that just suck you right in... AMAZING... highly recommended if you considering it.

in this game there is 4 classes .. warrior cleric rogue and mage .. each class has 8 souls .. example 2 of mages is 'pyromancer' or 'stormcaller' you can combine 3 of these 8 souls on a single character however you like to make a unique character.

hope this explaines how talents work to those wondering.

So many comments on how it will be a WoW killer.. I do agree this game looks amazing, but so did every single other mmo in their beta stages. Hell I remember when Aion was first released every server was full with a que of 600, 1 month later and every server was low population. Even World of Warcrafts expansions look 5x better before and during the beta. It all depends on end game PvE and PvP, if they are crappy, no 1 will be dedicated to this game.

Rift got me suprised in a good way I must say the least! From what I've played so far in beta.

I first was a bit sceptial myself.When I saw the gameplay vids on the internet. Ingame it feels much better! Everyone who's into mmo-rpg's and has it's doubts should check this out before judging.

They 'borrowed' almost every good interface/key part of other mmo's wich made it have an easy learning curve.

(I' ve played wow aswell) Probably Rift untill Skyrim and then Diablo 3 < my next games :)
