  • This album ranks alongside his "Syncro System" album. When King Sunny Ade released this record in 1979 he went on from there to dominate the african music scene with his unique style of African Rythm and soul.

  • @Outreachat: Phonodisk were the distributors of KSA recordings. Only for a short time though.

  • Thanks so much for this. September 1979, just before the inception of the Nigerian Second Republic, released at the same time as Fela's STB: Sorrows, Tears and Blood. This record was the very first release from the now-defunct Haruna Ishola's Phonodisk label, whose main producer was Odion Iruoje. The label would release Kris Okotie's I Need Someone, what I once called Nigeria's equivalent of MJ's Off the Wall, in 1980. The chorus line now sounds quite slipshod to me but, oh time, what the heck!
