  • This is a "guarded" video. =p

  • This video went viral on Cambodia

  • I thought that was pretty cruel! Those men would have ended up sucking in some shit.

  • Scary stuff

  • Ngeeech!! Is that pee pees and ka ka?

  • I was eating my breakfast when watching this. Yeucccccccch

  • Tuttle - his name looms large amongst the the greatest heroes in cinema!

  • The plumbers had a "shitty night", I guess...

  • That's both absolute comedy gold and twisted fucked-up nightmare fuel.

    It wins both ways.

  • ''oh SHIT!!!''

''We're all in it together, kid.''

    Best dialogue ever XD

  • True story:

20 years ago (I was a university student), I saw "Brazil".

I must have seen this movie a gazillion times since.

Anyway - this very day, I decided "I want to be like De Niro in this movie: I want to be a technical guy, someone that makes things works", I want to be... an engineer.

20 years later, I am an engineer "making things just works".

Sometimes, I fix the aircon, and sometimes, I connect shit pipes to some guys.

And this movie changed my life.

  • @jbmaillet This was my first DeNiro movie and I thought he was the coolest, most heroic guy ever. Then I saw Taxi Driver.

  • So I guess Tuttle never existed, and the main character did all those things?

  • @hankaaron1961 Tuttle did exist, but in the end he imagined him in the last sequence he was in.

  • Fucking best scene ever!

  • Awesomely funny :)

  • If only this had happened to the real Bob Hoskins, then no one would have had to watch "The Super Mario Brothers Movie".

  • Dystopian D-Pants...

  • I fucking love the hat Sam wears here. I want one!!

  • After watching Hoskins in Who Framed Roger Rabbit and The Super Mario Bros. Movie, hearing him talk with an english accent feels weird. I guess he pulled off the gruff New Yorker really well.

  • i like how robert deniro agreed to be in this, if not it probably wouldnt be as recognized, which it should because it is a great movie

  • Robert De Niro wanted to be in this movie from the beginning since he first found out about it from the producer, who also worked on Once Upon a time in a America previously (also with De Niro). the producer wanted a big name actor in a small supporting role for Brazil, and found out De Niro was a Monty Python fan which gave him more incentive to join the film. In a way, Brazil helped De Niro. At the time, he was looking for work that would prevent him from staying typecast in mobster roles

  • Symbolism:

Bob Hoskin's character was already full of shit before his nasty end!

    :P

  • this movie has excellent passages....this is one of the best...

  • Have you got a 27B/6?

  • @053bss

    you mean the 27b-6?

  • we are all in this together kid!

  • best movie ever

  • Harry Tuttle > Mario

  • the asshole in this scene is mario!

  • @blueangel0394 lol I know :P Bob Hoskins rocks.

  • What a "justifiable" end to Justice Department employees. LOL.

  • this movie is so corny but somehow a great movie

  • @Lucas76020 yeah, unfortunately it has become a bit underrated.

  • WAHAHAHA!! Terry scores again!!

  • central cervices, sir

  • ERIAM

  • I'm sure the plumbers lived. Their suits simply burst open, not their actual bodies.

  • byłem kiedyś na przeglądzie filmów z Robertem De Niro .....

  • At least in real life hazmat that can not happen.

  • Because of the weight of the water?

  • This movie is perfect.

  • Only Deniro could be that cool.

  • It's only 'make believe' ... find a 'chill pill' and try not to take things so seriously ... jeez

  • great movie and great robert de niro

  • the best movie ever made...

  • One of the best movies i've ever seen

  • It haunts every sane, democracy loving person, I think.

  • Brazil better go down in history as an amazing movie or I kill the judges!

  • I'd like to see the paper work on that.

  • Bit of a stickler for paperwork are we?

  • I love the movie, but I think the humor can be a bit too sadistic in some parts.

  • @desotowrong The suits exploded as soon as the sewage reached the top of their heads. They wouldn't have 'drowned' in it, they would have simply stunk of it afterwards.

  • "We're all in it together, kid."

  • "This is an H2206, authorizing the compulsory, temporary requisitioning of this flat for unnecessary repairs!" "Don't forget your receipt!" Those Moonsuits look really warm and fashionable except with the sewage going into them. The form 27B~6 is hilarious also. You should also see the part where, when the totalitarian government takes her husband away to his death, they say to the widow "Here is your receipt, and here is my receipt for your receipt!" or something like that.

  • Yep great, " This is your reciept for your husband and this my receipt for your receipt."

  • the fact that one can find such favorite clips so easily absolves YouTube for much of the idiotic crap they popularize.

  • This bit's really funny and the funniest part was when Terry Gilliam's daughter says "Put it on big boy. I won't look at your willy!" Does anyone know how he got her to say that? ROFL!!!!

  • Yeah and they wouldn't get away with it today. Gilliam said in an interview that it took a lot of coaxing by Mrs Gilliam and many takes/bribes to get the little girl say it. Would probably be called child exploitation now.

  • You've got to feel sorry for her. She was saying something she didn't understand and she was with strange people (the crew) and in a strange place. I heard she hated it and had tantrums and stuff to get out of filming.

  • But like you say the end result was brilliant and always gets a shocked response from anyone (myself included) seeing that scene for the first time. I was like "Did she just say what I think she did?". And Jonathon Pryce's horrified expression (filmed separately) was just priceless.

  • I had to rewind to check if I heard it right.

  • I usually dont laugh at this kind of stuff but i laughed uncontrolably at this part of Brazil.

  • tat part was funny!

  • I love this movie so much, thanks for posting this!

  • The makers of "Fear Factor" should bring this into their show!

  • It would have been the funniest clip ever if Paris Hilton & Nicole Richie had gotten this treatment as plumbers on their awful show!

  • Does anyone know if this scene is talked about in any director's commentary? Thanks.
