I remember I adopted my lab puppy from the shelter one of my neighbor's wanted to keep the lab puppy but didn't have enough money and they were going to put her to sleep screw that I adopted her. At first she was traumatized then couple of months she was happy but man she's alot of work a menace lol but we love her. I prefer to adopt animals then having kids.

my pup polly died when i was 4
my dog snickers i got when iwas 6 died he got hit by a car

Darksantos, before u adopt a dog PLEASE make sure it is the type/personality that can fit into your life.
Some dogs have issues with people or other dogs. Sometimes a person will take a dog home only to end up bringing it back to shelter. .. heartbreaking.
SO, I suggest u find out as much about a dog before you take it home. Ask the people at shelter.
I have an adopted Lab/Rottie and she FREAKS around other dogs. Good thing we live away from other houses and was able to keep my Love!
