  • Nice Last time I was at Disney was 12 years ago. At least I can still get a taste of it on the computer.

  • OMG ITS BIO ALL OVER

  • what the.., is this serious? :P

  • @rodney1415 very

  • Years ago wasn't there a smaller greenhouse early in the ride? Well before the larger section.

  • Is it ok if i use this for my science project??

  • hidden mickey at 9:24

  • My family and I got off of this ride and saw there wasnt a line and ran right back on it. We LOVE it :D

  • LOVE this ride. Classic.

  • what happens? I cant see it. /seems good, though ;)

  • worst ride on the planet!! the things we could have done with that time.......

  • I laughed with my mom at the end of the ride cos it said some wierd name for a vegetable...only turned out to be freaking rubharb! XD

  • Love this ride. The beginning scenes are gorgeous.

  • Love this ride... so cool to see this kinda stuff.

  • Does anyone know the artist & name of the song towards the end of the ride?

  • I was just surfing the net looking for videos to get me overour lack of a wdw trip in the near future. thanks for helping us feel like we are there! BTW great job.

  • i also got to release some live ladybugs onto the plants and eat a fresh piece of cucumber....was fantastic... you can also buy a small plant to take home...that was grown from cells of cultured plants....

  • @jeffdon4 I went on it too, but I didn't get to release the ladybugs. We fed the fish and gators instead.

  • You can actually take a behind the scenes tour of the land. It doesnt cost a lot of money,,,and you get to have a private tour....i did it in June....it was great.

  • Thank you so much for posting this! Definitely in my favourites!

  • This is ride is so relaxing, and usually the wait isn't long at all :D A perfect ride to ride when your children are getting cranky, put them on the ride and they come out calm and relax.

  • pause at 9:19, anyone else notice the red in the middle is a mickey mouse head?!

  • I am obsessed with this ride...OBSESSED. i ate at the garden grill when i last went to disney and it was torture watching it for like an hour and not being able to go on it, it also smells really good, not sure if that makes me a freak but it smelled good!

  • @cheerandfluvit It does not make you a freak! So many distinct smells at Disney, to me its like aroma therapy:)

  • This is true Disney Imagineering at work.

  • the music at the very end is awesome :) this ride is one of the best at epcot (:

  • Monster brussell sprouts - I have got to try this!

  • With the Land, Disney was green long before it was trendy.

  • I enjoy the Land, I guess as an old timer I miss the song "Listen to the Land" and before food rocks, "Kitchen Caberet:" in the same pavilion.

  • Awesome. Thanks for sharing.

  • This was my late grandfather's favorite ride! That, and the Norway swinging-ship thingy (and possibly Splash Mountain, but I don't remember for sure).

  • I went on this ride in the summer of 2009. i just love this ride it's nice and relaxing. I also like the that one farm house lol.

  • i love this ride i went on with my friends and everyone thought it was awesome

  • im going in less than 3 months! this ride is so relaxing.I cant wait to go on next time!

  • last time i went it was closed, it was really sad :( i love this ride. im glad it will be open next time though.

  • i love the song right at the end of this ride :)

  • Sadly I didn't get to ride this. My friend was so disappointed because she loves this ride. Hopefully if I ever get to go back, it'll be opened!

  • not ALL the food in Epcot cme from here! Some of it is mixed in to sauce ect... if yu ate all the food produced from Epcot to feed the masses it would be the size of Texas or larger...Grow a brain where are the wheat fields and all the chicken farms also masses amount of shrimp ect.

  • i bet that food tastes great. NOt keen on the crammped conditions for the fish & aligators though as that is cruel. The hydroponic & aeroponic systems are excellent though. Do they grow soil plants also?

  • This ride is outstanding, my wife and I ride it the first day of every visit to the world.

  • It's not meant to be a thrill ride. However, if you are an EPCOT fan, this is EPCOT at it's best. All rides are not meant to be thrilling, some are meant to be more about atmosphere and inspiration and this one fits the bill perfectly.

  • Im totally with you on that...well said :-)

its more about educational and inspiring facts rather than being thrown about upside down!

  • EPCOT is supposed to be educational...This is a great ride, plus ALL the food you eat in EPCOT and some parts of Disney comes from here.

  • Never rode this ride... Should I?

  • YES!. This here is Quintessential Epcot.

  • Definitely! However, it's closed right now for renovation. It should be open again in November!

  • yeah it is open now I was just there in late October. I am trying to figure out what they changed.

I know they got rid of all the references to Nestles who used to sponsor it but I am not sure what else.

  • I thought I heard that they were putting in new boats, but I guess you would have noticed that.

  • they didn't seem any different if they were new. Not to mention I doubt they would take what 2 months just to put in new boats?

  • YES you should...its a great ride.

  • This is true Disney Imagineering at work.

  • @lexishad

    Yessssss!!!! Do it!

  • @lexishad Yes. Unlike others this is a smooth boat ride. Gentler then anything else in all of Disney World.

  • @lexishad definetly

  • @lexishad its boring. it's fun to make fun out of. try it the next time you go to disney world. this ride has no drops

  • @lexishad yes you should. i never enjoy plants, but its cool to see the different ways they grow and protect the plants. is is also a kool ride to be in. its very relaxing

  • why record the Land? Go on Test Track and Sorin and Mission Space Disney is friken sweet im going in July

  • this ride is so relaxing I could ride it all day long

  • is it still there the ride

  • no i never saw it....was it good?

  • i was soo mad when food rocks got replaced......I LOVED FOOD ROCKS. but you have to admit soarin is awesome too!!!!!!!!!!!! but i have no recolection of this ride at all...

  • I'm sorry i'm not tryin to be mean or nothin but I think its completely strange that you have no memory of this ride. Its pretty much been the anchor for the land pavillion since 1981. How many times have you been there? I guess I can see it if you've only been a couple times and the ride is kinda tucked away down by the food court. Peace

  • And you're right. Food Rocks was pretty awsome. I miss it too. Were you there before food rocks? Its predisessor was Kitchen Caberet. I think it was even better than food rocks.

  • The ride was not that bad since there was no line

  • yeah my sister and I rode this while waiting for my mom and brother to ride soarin. I thought it was just gonna be a little boat ride, but it had a lot of neat stuff in it I didn't expect. it was cool to see the green houses

  • This ride was in The Land Pavillion along with " Food Rocks The Land" until food rocks got replaced by soarin'

  • This ride is still there.

  • interesting ride...but I think I would have gone asleep if I had gotten in it hehe

  • Sleeping is the perk... haha.

  • cool ride. I thought there was singing robotic vegatables on this ride, No? At the end, I thought there was like a Kitchen Caberet that sang... like this was some 12yrs ago...

  • ya i thought that too!! my mom thought i was imagining things! at least i kno i wasnt!

  • They offer a backstage tour of those giant aero gardens and a whole lot more cool stuff for a nominal fee. The wife and I loved it.

  • I took the tour too,it was very good.I makes me want to create one of those tomato trees in my backyard now!

  • I absolutely love this ride, its basically the reason I go to Epcot, lol. When my family goes on Soarin' I sit on this ride for two hours straight its amazing...thanks for posting now I can get my disney magic any time I want. I LOVE IT!!!

  • Whatev. I love this ride. This, Ellen's Energy Adventure, and Carousel of Progress. Pure Disney Magic. OOH! For the new DisneyNature company, they should make a doc called "Living with the Land!"

  • THAT is the best idea I've ever heard. /I would be at the midnight showing of it.

  • hahahahaaahahaha yessssssssss

  • omg, this was the most boring ride i have ever been on in my life.

  • No,its very interesting,it was back when Epcot was EPCOT Center, and the rides were educational and cool.

  • Oh no! Not this ride! We go on this everytime we visit Epcot. It's my dad's favorite. The old living with the land song just got stuck in my head, oh dear.

  • I remember this ride. Its near the fake hot air ballons?

  • it is! That's inside the Land pavilion. Also where Soarin' is.

  • @ajruck Great ride! You feel one with nature on this one.

The Pavilion is strange though, I had a salad there once that costs like $7.00 Bucks but it taste like Fish??

  • ummmm.......
