I hate the thought that i will never see J dilla live. i would give up alot just to watch him for 2 seconds. J dilla Changed my life, and the life of thousand of fans.

My blessed brotha! You've allowed me to appreciate the truth, heart and soul of Hip Hop. RIP Dilla.. Mad love to the Roots for the tribute! And thanks for the upload bruh!
Who's Next? NaS, Rakim, KRS-One, Kenn Starr, O.C., Jeru The Damaja, Common, The Roots, Elzhi or One Be Lo. Just to name a few but the list goes on.............
I ma 14 year old producer and recording artist who loves J Dilla. He's my Inspiration in making Music and being a producer to rap in the game. I love his Music, all of them is raw. he have different styles. He can do HipHop, Rap, Soul, Neo Soul and maybe more. I Do the same thing because of him. I was so sad that he died in 2006. I love sampling, i learned by his style of hip hop, not that garbage hip hop they're playing now, REAL Hip Hop. Thank You Jay Dee. R.I.P:(
BLACKJEDI41This tribute is nice, but the format and hook is mines. Thats real F****up to use someone's voice and format & no credit, u no who this is u need to get at me, u didnt get my consent for this! i know this was recorded thru a cell phone, there was no hook, over this beat, u had nothin for this beat!
@blackjedi41 hahahahaha. is this guy talking to The Roots?
Excuse me sir, but are you accusing Black Though of the beloved hip hop group 'The Roots' of biting your rhymes? or are you saying you were having a phone conversation with him or ?uestlove singing to them. One of them hit the record button and all of a sudden this song comes out?
sigh, i don't even know why i'm going to bother replying to this but i guess i will. i almost feel like i walked into some sort of practical joke.
First of all, Black Thought has spit some of the craziest verses ever. he's also known as a very gifted freestyle artist, aside from being a great song writer. they would never jack you singing on the phone either, because ?uestlove is a "musician" in EVERY sense of the word. these artists have not sold out to gain legions of new fans for money. Like the man they are paying tribute to, they have all the integrity a real artist should have. You're speaking nonsense. go away
Listenig to J Dilla's music makes me emotional and even sometimes cry. It's so beautiful that he create the type of quality of music that moves and inspires. I used to listen to this instrumental and the roots tribute is so touching. RIP to such a beautiful soul.
Man everytime I hear his beats I almost get tears in my eyes lol. After hearing Dilla I can honestly say I can't even listen to half the stuff that comes out on the radio.

'nuff said, Dilla was, is and always will be the best producer to walk this earth.
His music is un-categorical, that's what makes him so special. Nobody can label his music. Jazz, Funk, Hip-Hop, RnB, Rap... It fits into it all!
It's good knowing that your kids know what real music is and not this commercial junk that's being fed to todays kids.
