R.I.P. Dilla, Long Live The Roots, Fuck Drake.

  • R.I.P. J- Dilla He was iLL and 101% Hip-Hop!

Why do all the people that are pure Hip-Hop Die?

Who's Next? NaS, Rakim, KRS-One, Kenn Starr, O.C., Jeru The Damaja, Common, The Roots, Elzhi or One Be Lo. Just to name a few but the list goes on.............

  • R.I.P to the most gifted beat maker in the game today.

    you will always be remembered.

James Yancey AKA Jay Dee AKA J Dilla

  • R.I.P to the most gifted beat maker in the game today.

    you will always be remembered.

James Yance AKA Jay Dee AKA J Dilla

  • fuk those four guys who disliked this

  • man i can't take this, iam gonna cry:_(

  • I ma 14 year old producer and recording artist who loves J Dilla. He's my Inspiration in making Music and being a producer to rap in the game. I love his Music, all of them is raw. he have different styles. He can do HipHop, Rap, Soul, Neo Soul and maybe more. I Do the same thing because of him. I was so sad that he died in 2006. I love sampling, i learned by his style of hip hop, not that garbage hip hop they're playing now, REAL Hip Hop. Thank You Jay Dee. R.I.P:(

  • @Beatz4Life96 yer j dilla is all about pure hip hop, pure raw beats. none of that shit sfx lil wayne

  • DILLA IS IN OUR HEARTS

  • Why do all the good people die so early ,why?

  • Rip Dilla. God took you because he wanted you to produce him some beats.

  • @blackjedi41 WTF you talking about?

  • @mrjinggles THATS NOT MICHAEL JACKSON OR ANYONE ELSE WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THE ORIGINAL IS TWICE AS GOOD U BS OVER THIS BEAT

  • @blackjedi41 WHAT U TALKING ABOUT?

  • @blackjedi41 The lyricist is blackthought. The beat is dillas and your the girl moaning?

  • @blackjedi41 hahahahaha. is this guy talking to The Roots?

Excuse me sir, but are you accusing Black Though of the beloved hip hop group 'The Roots' of biting your rhymes? or are you saying you were having a phone conversation with him or ?uestlove singing to them. One of them hit the record button and all of a sudden this song comes out?

sigh, i don't even know why i'm going to bother replying to this but i guess i will. i almost feel like i walked into some sort of practical joke.

  • @tylerstone1980

First of all, Black Thought has spit some of the craziest verses ever. he's also known as a very gifted freestyle artist, aside from being a great song writer. they would never jack you singing on the phone either, because ?uestlove is a "musician" in EVERY sense of the word. these artists have not sold out to gain legions of new fans for money. Like the man they are paying tribute to, they have all the integrity a real artist should have. You're speaking nonsense. go away

  • To the G.O.A.T, the king of the "hand clap", The best that ever did it; J DILLA. You are sorely missed everyday in life and music. Your legacy will live on through the masterpiece music and dope lyrics you graced us with. My kids know about today's hip hop, but they also know who the greatest producer of all time is. R.I.P Dilla. I know GOD is listen the dopest beats ever. ONE LOVE!

  • 'nuff said, Dilla was, is and always will be the best producer to walk this earth.

His music is un-categorical, that's what makes him so special. Nobody can label his music. Jazz, Funk, Hip-Hop, RnB, Rap... It fits into it all!

It's good knowing that your kids know what real music is and not this commercial junk that's being fed to todays kids.

  • i never thought about it that way, he truly CANT be categorized. very well said

  • R.I.P my nigga!!

  • Dilla wasn't just good at making beats, he was a multi-talented artist who brought so much to music.

He was told by his doctor that he wasn't going to live very long (6 months I believe) but he fought his illness and went on making music, he even went to the studio and concerts in a wheelchair.

Rest In Peace J Dilla! You will always be remembered by all true music lovers!

(If you like this song, you should love
