I used to all ways go to jewel of india at white river junction. never knew they had a birchmere state theater style hall. until sept august 11. it's classic bands playing at random towns like olde times again
This was never one of my favorite Renaissance songs, due to the lyric which always seemed preachy and touchy-feely. That said, I'm still impressed that Haslam pulls it off...even in the same key, if I hear correctly. She is a treasure...plain and simple.
@Seahawkwes . . .you mean Sept. 16th...I was a that show, as well. I LOVE how the band enjoys playing Infinity Hall. It is, hands down, my favorite venue to see live music in CT. Most definitely worth the hour + trip. LOVE the Bistro, as well!
@lor682009 . . .well, seeing as how it was shot w/a sony H55 point and shoot, I'll give myself two thumbs up. Not sure if you're familiar with the theater, but security frowns upon video taping. This wasn't put up as a "quality" production but rather as a way to share a magical evening. Everyone's a critic!! lmao

Well it's not "Running Hard", neither is fascinating like "A Trip of the Fair", but also the present ever green ballad, despite the bad recording, is worth checking out nowadays, 2010-2011 Long Live Annie!
Thanks-much for this! I saw them at Infinity on July 16 2011 and they didn't do this song. But it was a Great show with Scheherezod and Turn of the Cards Albums played in entirety. Just wish that the Encore could have been THIS song rather-than the Muse song.
Thanx so much for this..... We have front row center seats to see them at Infinity next Friday. I'm glad to see that Annie can still hit her highs so well..

Sounds wonderful!
37 years after the original recording! You're well past your mental prime, bud. Annie sounds great.
